Good morning everybody, have a great day Very Happy

I went to the dentist this morning. Youch! First session of putting a crown on one of my molars again. Needed a straw to drink my coffee afterwards. Sad
Nevertheless I'm having a blast today, it's freezing cold with sunny spells, a colleague came up with apple cake, the rest of my colleagues but one deserted the office and the flowers outside are beautiful. Laughing Wink

Grammadot, yep I'm still a young one, though I have the class of 1981 and the class of 1982 next to the class of 1984 behind my name. Laughing
PattiT, almost sounds like an extreme make over going on at your place. But buying a smaller washer is a good thing, it prevents you from carrying heavy batches of laundry. I got a small one my self now and I love it.

Good Morning, Friends!

Now that temperatures have cooled, I will make meatloaf and spaghetti casserole. Part of the meatloaf will be for dinner, but the rest will be frozen into individual portions (as will the spaghetti). Ground beef is on sale for Memorial Day weekend. Smile

Fan - Those dental crowns definitely have a "youch factor." Right now, the "biggest youches" here are mosquitoes... after all the flooding and more rain today.

Patti (gramma) - Will the weather clear for your reunion, or do you have a shelter?

Ann - Did you enjoy any time outdoors before the rain moved in?

PattiT
- You have been missed. Can't wait to hear how you like your new washer and dryer.

Greetings to Carolyn, Debbie, Martha, Pat, Tango, and anyone I've missed.

~~Vicki

I did a load of laundry today and am learning as I go. I took out half the shirts after the drying cycle was half way done, left them get dry and then put the others back in, I didn't even have to extend the drying cycle at all. Hubby is power washing the siding. He would hate to have any of his siblings see any dirt inside or out this coming weekend. I made us some potato salad to go with burgers on the grill for dinner tonight.
Do any of you remember Spryte? She had posted a picture on Facebook and I just loved the sandals she had on. She had given up her desk at work because she wanted to stand so I figured they must be comfortable. She told me where she got them and I checked them out. I have never spent that much on a pair of shoes before but with the problems with my feet and legs causing so much pain I bit the bullet and ordered them. I think I will be glad this summer that I got them. They were Teva's not sure if any one had heard of them or not.
Patti, not sure about your weather but we are to have a significant cool down after these 90 degree days. The weather man said people will be huddled around the grill for heat, ha ha. It will give us an excuse for a bonfire, everyone always enjoys them.
Anyone else have Memorial Day plans?
Fan, that flower was gorgeous!
Well, I better go make sure hubby is okay out in this heat. Talk to you all tomorrow.
