Good Morning, Friends!

Brrr! Frost warnings are a few miles north, and I have pulled out my cozy pants and a warm sweater. Just a couple days ago it was in the mid-80's. I just heard an advertisement for an outdoor water park... how busy will it be?

Today was supposed to be low key. Instead, I'll watch three grandchildren. One granddaughter is having surgery (appendicitis) this morning. Shocked Those here will have fun: time outside, time baking (all enjoy baking), and watching one video. I must figure out what we're baking this afternoon. Smile

Have a great day!
~~Vicki

Good morning Vicki. I will say a prayer for your granddaughter undergoing surgery. I am sure the others will enjoy their time with you.
I noticed our waterpark is opening this weekend also, I said the same thing to hubby, how much money will they make? Our highs for this weekend will be lucky to hit 70, after several days of 90 degrees. I put away my winter clothes, glad I will be able to get to some sweaters for our picnic.
I think I will work on dusting everything in the house today. I will need to go out and dead head some iris also. The gardens got rain yesterday so they wont need watered.
My sister in law said she will bring us some walking onions for us to plant. I read up on them and they are really fascinating. I know hubby will love them. I think they are also called Egypt onions. Has anyone heard of them before?
Hope everyone has a wonderful day.
Here is what my washer/dryer is.

Good day everybody, have a brilliant start of the weekend Very Happy

I went kind of she shopping today, but no success. The suppliers of MBT had totally run out of sandals, so after going to one shop and calling another I ended up behind the computer and ordered them online in Austria. Could have ordered them in Germany too if I had wanted.
Vicki, are they going to use old fashioned surgery or the new techniques? Hopefully she'll be back home soon. Have fun with the other kids Smile
PattiT, looks like a great washer/dryer. And this brand is not being sold in Europe Wink Although we do have LG tv-sets. Never heard of walking onions either, but then I'm not much of a gardener Laughing

Hey Y'all:

For what it's worth I graduated hs in 1966, so I must be ancient.

Not been feeling all that good for the last two weeks. I started having painful "Panic Attacks" when dh started showing stroke symptoms. Pain in my chest, rapid breathing etc. thought I was having heart attack. Dr. put me on medication & gave me Xanax for emergency use. Haven't been using much of it lately. Now suddenly I'm getting SEVERE pains in my chest radiating up my jaw & into my back. Went to Dr. this morning & between the two of us figured out they were more severe panic attacks. Noticed if I increased my depression meds to twice a day it stopped full blown attacks. I won't have med. ins. (Medicare) until Jan. so if things don't worsen or I don't exhibit any other symptoms a full cardio workup will be done in Jan. She also gave me a new Rx for the Xanax, my supply was 3 years old. If things worsen I will make an appt to see my cardiologist. Not ready to turn up my toes yet Smile

Had my Blazer worked on a few weeks ago-new distributor cap, rotor & contact. Now it won't start at all. Soooo, I'm going to get out the books on it & see if he has the plug wires messed up. If that's not it I'll have to get it to my usual repair shop & dump more money into the stupid Chevy.

We are having a hot spell, will be in the 90's for the next 10 days. I guess that means summer is here.

Y'all take care...

HUGS to all who need one...or two...or three
