Good morning eveybody, have a smashing Friday.

This morning we had a CSI in our office. One victim close to a possible murder weapon...

Autopsy ruled out murder and manslaughter...

the corpus delict at the crime scene showed no traces of violence. Our office was safe and the corporate image not in jeopardy Wink .
T-storms have arrived, but they are not very active, so it's still very mucky and hot. Office temps are at a stable 28C/86F. Luckily I have only one hour to go before the weekend starts...

Fan - Definitely a murder scene. Any other results from the autopsy? Hopefully, your temps and mugginess will drop after the thunderstorms are gone. What are your plans for tonight and the weekend?

I have a low key weekend planned now, but that may change. What do you think of my flowers and your poor fly? If they were nearby, would he survive? Smile

~~Vicki

Vicki, your flowers are beautiful. But it wouldn't have saved the fly, since this one is carnivorous Laughing and I can see no protein on your beautiful flowers.
I haven't planned anything yet for the weekend, it all depends on temps, mugginess and the t-storms, it's likely to be low key Wink

The only thing we have planned tomorrow (at the moment) is going to Farmer's Market. Shhhh! We go before they open and get the "bestest" things. Smile

Vicki, lovely plan. Maybe I could do that too before 8am, when it's probably still cool. However, gotta wait for the weather report first. Don't want to buy too many things, if the temps stay this high.

Hi all!!

I finally got my internet back!!!
Yesterday was 6 weeks since my surgery. It was a painfully experience Sad I got sick 2 days after & had to start all over again, nothing by mouth for 24 hrs. Ugghhhhh came home on the 19 late in the afternoon. Was doing good than bam!!! a infection took hold & back to chapel hill for 5 more days. Came home with more antibiotics & pain meds. So far I'm doing OK. Tired, sore, wore out!!
Martha mine was robotic too, so NOT cool!!!! LOL I wish you luck on yours!! I just wish someone would have told me how painfully this was! I have a high tolerance for pain but this was off the charts!

Patti hows Nick?

Tango, welcome back Very Happy . I'm sorry to hear your surgery was so painful and with that many complications afterwards. But I'm really happy to have you back here.
Carolyn, any chance of things getting more stable and improving? Just know you are in my thoughts, girl. How's the grandson dealing with the loss of his friend? Probably still to early to say. Seems your step mum is coming down quite fast, hopefully the help will be adequate enough to relieve your dad. My godmother had it too and my great uncle was really struggling with it.

**Tango, your first post, not so good, but your second one was fan freakin tastic!!!! What great news. I was so worried for you, you have been in my prayers every day just like my son. He has chemo today, and two more to go, then they wait for several weeks to do a PET scan to see if the cancer is gone. I will be able to take a deep breath when he gets the all clear.
**Fan, an exciting day at work, what with the crime scene and all. Did they catch the perpetrator? Hopefully you all escaped safely.
We had barbecued chicken on the grill tonight and a nice juicy nectarine for dessert.
**Vicki, a low key weekend is nice sometimes. Enjoy. I am sure there will be lots of great things at the farmers market.
**Carolyn, I am sorry to hear of all the bad things befalling your family. Seems like your family has been tested a lot. Time for a break and some good news for you all.

My sister in law came and picked me up this morning and took us to our favorite breakfast place and then wouldn't let me pay, she said it was for my birthday. She ended up taking me to several stores to make some cute cupcakes with Madison while she is here next week.
Tomorrow is the big swim meet in Hershey, I am hoping it is not too hot. We will be there from early morning until at least until 2.
Sunday all of the family but me is going to a baseball game in Lancaster. I declined the invitation because I thought it was going to be too hot.

Such sad news from Ann today. It all seemed to come out of nowhere.

Gotta go, hope everyone has a good weekend.
