Leaving the house this morning, I could see the clouds departing our area of Michigan. The sunshine is SO APPRECIATED! And, we didn't get any snow. My son is in Iowa, and they awoke to snow a couple days ago.

Do you ever have a day when you just can't figure out what you want for dinner? Normally, this is not a problem. What are you having?

Greetings to everyone!
~~Vicki

Hello Vicki, I am trying to decide what to do with the chicken I have waiting for me in the fridge. I am thinking something baked in the oven, I am so cold! I am using a cup of decaf as a hand warmer right now.
I feel like I haven't posted in forever. I have been feeling frustrated and grumpy. So I haven't been good "company."
Hopefully some things will turn around for me and I will be in a better mood.

Hi everybody, have a great day Very Happy

Qui, sunshine received. Thanks, we had 65F today with a stormy wind. It was really awesome sitting outside having dinner in the yard. And if it's stays like this, it'll be pizza and cocktail night on Friday on the pavement in front of the pet shop Laughing Cool Any news from Nubbins? If you do, please say hi to her from me.
Vicki, dinner was simple. I had some leftover cooked broccoli and French beans. Put it in an oven dish with a tapenade of sun dried tomatoes, garlic, flat leaved parsley and sun flower oil. Then topped it with some mozzarella and grated parmesan, whacked it in the oven for 15 minutes on 200C (gas) and done.
PattiT, sounds like winter has kicked in at your region already. Hope you get to feel better soon.
Ann-Marie, how's the critter count today?

another semi productive day - I have decided that laundry is not my friend...I have been getting heavier clothes ready for the closet...almost done....made 4 little herb gardens for a friend...picked up Rx at Walgreens...bought some gingerbread man peeps - (they were on a top shelf in the back. I looked on the shelf where the rest of the peeps reside, and they weren't there so I had a clerk get them down and bought 2 pkgs.....when I got to the car, I tried one...and went back inside and bought more) when I pointed out that they still had not put any on the shelf, was told they aren't really supposed to be for sale till after Halloween - I found some aluminum carry-out containers with lids in the $ store and an olive fork at the thrift shop.

Not bad for a wander about town.

I talked to Nubbins yesterday, she is feeling a bit better and getting around a bit better. She has decided she will live, but so far has not gotten on the puter...I read her all the notes from here and FB - and told her to get over here and say hi...

no other news - sunshine, smiles, hugs and snacks for all
