Good Morning, Friends!

I had to remove some programs. Perhaps this computer operate better without bringing it in for repair... just a guessing. We have another Christmas recital this afternoon. But another snow advisory, less than 1/4 mile visibility. I truly hope we can attend.

And, sometime today or this evening I will make an apple galette. Definitely an experiment!

- Coffee and sorting magazines. Sometimes coffee is just what I need, too.

PattiT - What fun to see snow angels from your husband and son. I lived in Bozeman, Montana... a little farther west than Billings.

Martha - Yes, it sure is handy to have homemade soup in the freezer. We have not put up a Christmas tree, either. Almost all our Christmas celebrations are at my daughter and son-in-law's home. In fact, we gave them one of our trees. Enjoy baking those cookies!

Ann and Martha - Have you had a lot of snow advisories/warnings this December?

Good morning Vicki and everybody else, have a smashing Tuesday.

I've finished the magazines last night and started a new project today: cleaning fridge and freezer. Cooked up the last portions of minced meat into a bolognese sauce, boxed it up and put it into the shed. It's almost as cool there as in my fridge. The rest of the stuff will go in there too. The leftover things in the freezer are hosted by my neighbour overnight. Hopefully he's not tempted to eat my salmon Laughing
Martha, I'm with Vicki. A few portions of pasta sauce and a bit of soup in the freezer is live saving. Wink
PattiT, snow angels? What has happened to the terrible snowmen?
Ann-Marie, are you still combatting the snow?
Vicki, good luck with your experiment and hopefully the snow doesn't stop you from attending the recital.

Something new I hope it works. I think I will bake some cookies today also. I have butter out coming to room temperature. I am making thumbprint cookies with seedless raspberry jam in them. It seems to be everybody's favorite.
I just can't think of what to make for our Christmas eve get together. SIL is bringing mini sandwiches (always devoured quickly) DIL is bringing a strawberry pretzel salad, and I am at a loss. I usually make a shrimp cheese dip, I double the recipe and it still doesn't last through the evening. I hope hubby gets a chance to go get some shrimp when he gets back from his trip. If not I have some crab meat that I could make a dip out of. In former years I went all out and then there was way too many leftovers.
I am going to make some bark today, half with nuts half without. Hubby I guess has to remain not free forever I guess. Of course most of my recipes for Christmas contain some kind of nuts, sigh.
**Vicki, I hope the weather clears up before time for the recital. Does Karl mind driving in the snow? An apple galette sure sounds good. My hubby mentioned Bozeman, I think he might go there to rent a car, not sure though. They are supposed to arrive to their destination by tonight at 6, if they don't hit any crazy weather.
**Fan, I wish I had more ready made things in my freezer, it mostly contains veggies and fruits to make into things. I do have one container of spaghetti sauce and one of tomato soup. I am going to try to post the picture of my hubby doing the snow angel after the hot tub. Yes, he is a little crazy. My son said he spent yesterday reading the owners manual for the truck and snooping around checking out the sleeper area of the truck.

I think I will go gather up the rest of the ingredients for the cookies. Hope everyone has a good day and that Martha and Ann don't get too much snow either. Apparently we got just enough to make the roads really slippery. Schools had a two hour delay.
