Morning everyone,

Fan - I figured that's what it is...boredom from winter. I'm off tomorrow and I already have plans of what I want to do - going to start with putting away some of the snowmen and get my covered dishes back out, get those washed so I can put them back on the shelves. Smile I think, too, with being on my feet 8, 10, 12 hours at work makes me wanna sit a lot too.

Martha - glad you aren't snowed in but that darned cold....BRRRRR!!!!! I had to walk into work the other day when the wind chill was -30º, my legs were hurting by the time I got into the building. Crazy.

It's snowing this morning then they said a "slight" chance of rain this afternoon but lots of rain tomorrow with the temp being into the 50's!!! What?!?!! Really freaky weather for winter...hate rain in the winter.

Get this...we are down to SIX critters and by tomorrow or Sunday we will be down to THREE if none come in today or through the weekend. With all the changes in insurance they are going to other places. Scary. Hoping we get another critter boom soon...the staff are being called off. I left last night at 5:30. Sad

Better get around here, brush my teeth then go out and start the car.

News for Debbie sounds much better today. They did not put the trach in. They think it might just have something to do with her Bi-Pap machine not working properly. It is 4 or 5 years old. That would certainly be a nice easy solution. I hope and pray that is what is causing her so much trouble. Tiffany said she was able to talk to her mom 3 times yesterday. She said this team of Dr.s are searching for solutions instead of just giving up on her like the other hospital.
We stopped and saw James' soon to be ex-wife. It was nice to see her. Things were very cordial while we were there, kind of sad thinking we may not see he again. Then the texts to James started and ended up bad. She said she hates that he took us away from her, that we were her role models for parenting etc. She said that he already has a replacement for her but that she will never be able to replace the family that we were to her. I really really wish she would take this opportunity to grow closer to her own family. Oh well enough about that.
It was so great to hear that Nick's tests show that he is still in remission. Tina said the Dr.s and nurses were calling him fatty because he has put some weight back on. I think Tina said he weighs 149, for his 6 foot frame, he certainly does not look fat, but he sure isn't as gaunt as he used to be. He ate very well while he was with us. Tina's mom met us at the Farm Show and it was nice to talk with her. She told me that at one point she really thought Nick was not going to make it. She also told me that she is so grateful to have Nick in Tina's life and that he is such a good person. She said Nick is able to keep her calm when no one else can. I told her we were certainly eternally grateful for what all she did throughout his cancer treatments. Then apparently something happened between Tina and her mom and Tina asked for the keys to the car, she was crying and said she just wanted to sit in the car, and her mother was now gone?? She cheered up once we left the Farm Show. It is sad to see children not getting along with their parents.
I have some bread rising to go with some homemade chicken noodle soup.
**Ann, is it really from insurance stuff that your critter count is down?? If so that sure is sad and scary. Is Jim working, sorry if that is personal, you of course don't have to answer. It just worries me if they start cutting your hours. Seem like so many of my friends are going through some really tough times. (((Ann)))

What is everyone else up to??

Hi everybody, have a great evening Laughing

I decided not to go up north tomorrow, but to stay at home and spend my time doing household chores and bills. Yuck Mad . Tomorrow's meeting is all about progress of our own historical research and since I'm living that far away from the main resources for my research my progress is slow and there's not that much to share with anybody. Besides bills are running high this month, so I might as well save me the travel expenses for next time.
Ann-Marie, maybe I should do the same and take down the Christmas tree to begin with. Wink Sure hope the critter count goes up again and keeping you busy again.
Martha, glad you are not snowed in and still having power Very Happy
PattiT, sure glad for Debbie not getting the trach and the doctors searching for solutions. Thanks for telling us. I'm happy for your family that Nick is still in remission. I feel for your DIL to be, she obviously isn't feeling sure about her own family's support.
I'm not up to much anymore, my day is over. gonna watch the news with Myō
