Good morning everybody, have a brilliant day Very Happy

I'm supposed to have clouds and severe rainfall today. But apart from a very short downpour of 4 minutes just after entering the office, I'm having my coffeebreak sitting in the sun. Smile in good company.

I have a cleaning up project for today. My office mailbox is running out of storage space, time to sort things out, file or delete them and create some space for new e-mails again.
PattiT, sure hope the poool will be ready for you Wink
Have a great daty every body. TTYL

Good Morning, Friends!

Yesterday was a day of exceptions. The final exception was an entry door that broke the lock. Dinner was delayed while we chose a door handle online and picked it up at the store 15 minutes later. Karl replaced it right after dinner.

With all this going on, I forgot to make my older son's bread recipe... only four ingredients. He makes it evening, and bakes it in the morning.

Fan - We had rain yesterday. I'll try to maintain my balance again today with a sunny day in store. Smile What wonderful company you enjoyed. Smile

Ann - What a surprise to see the turkey run out while you were riding your bicycle! Shocked

Patti - How nice that you visited several Farmer's Markets! Wishing you found more. With our long and cold winter, I'm wondering if our strawberries and other fruit/vegetables will be unusually late. I only found asparagus and new plants the last time.

~~Vicki

Good morning girls. We got lots of rain over night so no watering of the garden needed today.
**Fan do you know what kind of bird you took your break with. It was very pretty. I hope he sang a pretty tune for you.
**Vicki it was nice that Karl was able to fix your door lock that quickly. Have you given us the recipe for your sons bread? I love making homemade bread. Our strawberries were delayed about two weeks. I think there is not many things better than fresh local strawberries.

I hope everyone has at least a partly sunny day.

PattiT, the bird is an Eurasian jay [Garrulus glandarius]. But this one didn't sing yet. It had just fallen out of the nest and practising it's flying skills. Laughing
Both parents were around too, keeping an eye on their chick.
Vicki, we ended up having some short rain showers with sunny spells in between. I'll be enjoying a sunny day tomorrow. Hope you liked the Peyala soup.
I'm gonna hit the shower, maybe till later.

Patti - After I make the bread, I'll post the recipe.

Fan - My husband and I definitely enjoyed the soup. Mmmm!
