Well I am back, the parents are the worse. You tell them that we will let each theater out 5 mion apart, oh it little susie has to use the bathroom and then they leave with cleaning up. Or Tommy has a soccer game and we must leave now. Boy I am so tired of this. The movie was cute and the girls were good. It's the parents I could do without.
Went to look for coffee tables etc and found one I liked will decide later if I want it. I really need to rest now
I sure hope my pictures show up, in my profile they are there but they are not showing up.
Talk to everyone later

Good Morning (still am here) bug, Linda, Linda, Kenna Lou, Sheryle, Anita and Holly. Here I am, later than most as usual LOL.
I slept in until 8:30 this morning and have been trying to answer 67 e-mails with my morning coffee. I'm down two cups and they're is still too many to handle right now. They get out of control in two days but I am blessed to have such wonderful friends so I'm not complaining.
I just wanted to say good morning and wish everyone a very happy Saturday before I go hop in the shower. It's cool here today, actually going to put on sweat's for the first time this year, nevertheless I am B-B-Qing pork steaks today with scalloped potatoes (thanks to Debbie mentioning it yesterday) and corn on the cob. If I cook like it's summer then my mind thinks it's summer. I'm easy that way, or just plain old silly.
Holly I just love those emoticons/smileys or whatever they are called, yours too Linda's X2. Love em all.
Well, sweet ladies I will type at you later and hopefully catch up in the tea room later on.

Hello Ladies!
I also slept in this morning, just couldn't get myself up with it raining outside! I took that day off yesterday and went on an all day outing with some friends. We shopped, went out to lunch, shopped more! I was worn out.
Today I would like to just relax but there is no rest for the weary! I have to go to Kroger for the weekly grocery shopping trip. I didn't see turkeys in the ad this week but I'm hoping they are on sale. I am also hoping to persuade hubby to go to a few other stores while out. We are going to the high school hockey game tonight and am already thinking of ways to leave early and come home.
I have had a very busy week and haven't gotten to post much. One big deal is that we had our land line phone removed and will just use cell phones from now on. It is kind of scary but we did it! Now my kitchen wall has a big place where the phone was and the wallpaper is peeling off. We can't find any of the old to fix it and I'm not sure what we are going to do. Any suggestions??
I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend.

HELLO FRIENDS.... I just now at 9:05 EST,got time to come chat with you all!! I wanted to stop in early this morning, but my phone would not quit ringing! Itwas 11:00 before I got off the phone. By then I had my 2 DGS's because DSIL was going to help DH clean out gutters, rake and mulch leaves and bring patio furniture in alond with the kids outside toys. So it was an all day job, especially when they were dodging rain drops. Cody (3 1/2 y.o) says to me.."grandma I'm sorry I accidently drug some leaves in on your floor, now I have to vaccumn>" So I let him, he's quite the little worker...he was in in height of glory outside helping the guys.
I finally had my PORK ROAST today! I put it in a steamer pan to heat up, made scalloped potatoes, corn and took those apples and fixed fried apples. Oh my, what a delious dinner! I kept expecting you girls to ring the door bell at 6:00!!
I love all of you guys squiggles today..they are so cute!
Sounds like everyone had a pretty good day.
DH was pretty tired today..He's been trying to get some kind of bug, so working in the rain probaly didn't do him any good. He was all prepared to relax and watch the tube this evening, when his buddy called and ask if we wanted to watch a new movie he just bought. I said you can, I'm going to work on the laundry and chat on the boards!.So Andy's here and they're watching a movie. I went to put clothes in the dryer and it quit working again! I told DH just wait til tomorrow to see if he can fix it. He has been doing temp. fixes on it until he gets a part ordered and I hope it can be ordered, because I sure would hate to have to buy a new dryer at this time of year!
Well listen girls, I'm gonna get off here and go check out RECIPES on TOH site, so I'll talk to ya tomorrow! Take care....Debbie _________________ Debbie

| Sounds like everyone had a nice and productive Saturday. Bug, that carrot casserole sounds good. My granddaughter was searching for all the carrots in her soup today so I think she would like it also. Hello Debbie, that Cody sounds like a sweet little boy. It was nice of him to help Grammy clean up. Suzanne, is the spot you need to hide a good place to hang a picture or something decorative? Jan your barbq meal sounds delicious. Linda, you survived your outing! And then on top of it went shopping. Whew, what a day. Kenna we had another great day here today, I took my granddaughter for a nice long walk and we both just had t-shirts on, those days are coming to an end soon I am sure. Holly, what a beautifully colorful post. Anita, glad it was just an eye appt. and that all went well. Sheryl, I am glad that you didn't drag yourself to the laundromat in the rain. I hope you were able to enjoy your Saturday. Linda, hope you got your leaves all taken care of, it seems to be a never ending task at this time of year. |
