Good morning everyone!
I know I've said it before, but will say it again - I hate Monday! The weekend goes by so fast and the next thing I know, it's time to go back to work.
I hope everyone had a great weekend!

Good Morning all
I am up and ready for school, but is school ready for me. I have energy this morning. Probably will need a nap later this afternoon. Have meetings all week at night. Went to a Oktoberfest dinner last night at a friends, they deep fried a turkey, I brought the stuffing and the pumpkin soup. We had sweet potatoes, regular baked potatoes, rolls and cranberry sauce.
We had pies for dessert. Everything was delicious. My DH had to work so brought him a plate.
Have enough leftover stuffing to serve tonight with a chicken, so dinner is done.
Well everyone have a great day

Good Morning, Sheryle, Linda, and all to follow!
The weekend flew by for our family, too. My son returned safely from Indianapolis. Glad to have him back, even though it meant more laundry. We, also, had a pre-Thanksgiving gathering, since some family members will be gone. More leaf raking and pickup on scheduled for this week, as well.
I'd better get started.

Good Morning Sheryle, Linda and Vicki and all to follow. Hope you all had a relaxing weekend.
Sheryle, I feel you pain about Monday's, not my favorite day of the week. I'm just dragging this morning, half asleep.
Linda, It sounds like you had a good time and good food. One of these days I want to try a deep fried turkey. Love you siggies, too cute.
Vicki, I'm so glad your son is safley home even if it means more laundry. Boy those leafs are like a never ending job aren't they. Hope your dinner was a good one.
I have lot's to do this week so I hope it makes the week fly by until Friday.
Hope everyone has a good day even if it is Monday.

Hi everyone
Busy morning- my DH home today and he does the treadmill on mondays so I head for the gym. Walbaums (which starts it's sale now on fridays) has some things that I needed to pick up.Came home and made a french apple pie for my hubby.
Sheryle- I think I might of mentioned that I work in our local library. I'm hosting the cookie exchange there. I'm making a chocolate cookie that I won a blue ribbon at a recent harvest fair.So far I have about 16 ladies signed up. One is making her famous potato chip cookie. It's going to be at noon and hope a few more sign up.
Anita- That's cool that you live in that area. I'll have to ask Janice about the dog park. Would love to see a photo of you furbabies
Suzanne- I'm sure some store will have the turkeys on sale! I never heard of that store in florida you mentioned. We only have Walbaums and King Kullen around here
Jan- How was the Contessas Chicken? Get those 8 emails read?
Debbie- Super Soap Weekend is held in Orlando at MGM at Disney. Since Disney owns ABC they get all their soap stars and get the fans to come . I think it's a big money maker and way to crowded for me but my friend loves it and goes every year.
Linda- sounds like you had a great dinner last night.
Vicki- love how your main photo changes -good idea
Redawna- would love to see a photo of the gingerbread buildings when you are done
See ya later.

Hello all! I feel the same as everyone else, the weekend seemed to fly by. Today as been pretty busy for me so it has gone by fast, too.
Today was the usual housework and groceries. I have been on the go most of the day. Have to finish up the housework in the morning and then go to Bible Study.
I can't believe that next week is Thanksgiving. I may buy some of my stuff that I need at the end of this week and then finish up the shopping on Monday. My youngest DD is out of school all next week for Thanksgiving Holidays. I'm going to try to go ahead and get my Christmas tree up next week too. It gets harder each year to get it up and I want to get it done early this year. Wish me luck!
Have a great day, y'all!
Hugs, Kenna Lou |

Good Afternoon to ALL my TOH FRIENDS... iT'S 4:00 est and DD and the Boys just left, so I don't have to much time to chat. I've got a few things to do ,before DH gets home from work. Dinner tonite is going to be to order in pizza ,as I need to go to the store. It's soooo cold and damp, with overcast skies. Looks and feels like a winter day. Well at least the yard and patio are cleaned up for the winter.
****SHERYLE,When I worked outside the home, I was like you and hated Mondays too! And like everyone else, I always wondered why the week-end went by faster than the weekday! Hopefully you'll be too busy to notice and next thing you now it will bw Friday 5:00pm!!
****LINDA W, I always get such a chuckle from seeing your pics. Thanks for sharing them with us...it makes my day start off with a smile! Your dinner at the Oktoberfest sounded really delish! Did you like the fried turkey? I hear they are very good!
****VICKI, So glad your son arrived home safe and sound. AS parents we will always worry about our children won't we? WE did the leaf blowing, raking and mukching thing at our house this week-end too. We only have one dogwood in the front yard and a small maple that we planted in our backyard, but we always get the all the neighbors leaves too. oh well we get to benefit from thier shade in the summer.
****JAN, Hpoefully your week will fly by like Sheryle
s since you both will be so busy. Just remember to get alot of rest when you get home.
****REDAWNA, Good luck on your "GINBERBREAD DREAMS" I'm really looking forward to seeing the pics. of it. I'll say a big prayer that you get a blue ribbon.
****LINDA L, 16 ladies for acookie exchange sounds like fun. I've never been to a cookie exchange, but I 'll bet you come away with alot of good cookies along with the recipes.
Are you going to post your blue ribbon Chocolate Cookies recipe for us?
Where's HOLLYtoday? Sure hope she's doing OK!...Hello to ya friend if you stop in later. I guess I'd better get going ..you all have a good evening...I'll chat with ya tomorrow. Take care....Debbie |
