Morning Everyone,
It's so nice here this morning. Got two tubs of wash out and got the suitcases out to air before I start packing. Gee next Sunday I hope to be in the water at this time.
Linda- Did you go to the mall? Mailing you off something this week-
Holly- Hope you are feeling better.
Anita: It sounds like you do alot of decorating ! We live in the woods but I still put a small tree out by the driveway with lights.
Debbie,Sheryle,Jan & Patti - Thank you so much for the kind thoughts. I was hoping to meet a few nice people when I signed up and for the rest it really doesn't matter to me. This is great site and I will continue post and do the birthday's!
Speaking of birthdays- Debbie have a wonderful day.

Hi Everyone
Linda - I didn't go to the malls. First I really hate the malls, but only go when the girls force me. I did go to Old Navy and Filenes with one of the DD yesterday. But the leg is really hurting. I cannot take any pain meds till after the surgery didn't know how Dependant I became of them.
I did some online shopping this morning. and told my one Dd to buy herself clothes from me and that would be her Christmas gifts.
Have to finally get dressed and get off this computer this morning and go food shopping so they have things to eat this week.
The surgery is scheduled for Wed. AM I probably will not be around till next week, if they let me have a laptop.
Very disappointed my DH can't get off when I am in the hospital. They wouldn't change his hours to accommodate the visiting hours. The girls also probably will not make it there much either.I guess I will be working my tail off to get home. Being a control freak about my house, I am very nervous as what I will come home to.
We just about finished the Christmas decorations, just some odds and ends to do and the wrapping is almost done.
Like I said got to get moving this morning.
Will speak to all later
Linda

Hello to the two Linda's and anyone else stopping by today. I am so happy that Babette got my account straightened out and I can get on again! I really like this place and did not like the thought of not being able to come here. Just finished a dessert to take along tonite, after I see how well it goes over I will post it if it turns out good. My hubby left to go hunting again so it will be really quiet around here, and I will have lots of time to be on-line. |

Good morning Linda, Linda and Patti and anyone who follows me.
Have to leave in a few minutes but just had to peek in and see what my friends are up to today. When I get home im making my yearley Turkey Soup. I always make it the Sunday after Thanksgiving. I simply take every single thing leftover from the Thanksgiving dinner except the cranberry sauce and put it into a huge dutch oven and it makes the best turkey soup ever. Who would have thought sweet potato casserole, baked beans, green bean casserole, stuffing and gravey and everything else combined together with the chopped up leftover turkey would come out tasting like heaven in a bowl. Tum Yum!!! It's so cold today it will be the perfect meal.
Wish I could give you a recipe but you would have had to have the exact same meal I had to make it taste like mine but I think any leftorvers would work. I used to make praline yams every year and I put it in the soup too with the coconut and nuts in it, it just made it better. Can't wait to see what it will be like this year with the "Bestest Sweet Potato Casserole Ever" leftovers. I only had leftovers from that one because I made soooo much food. Ok enough about my dinner , sorry.
It's pretty cold for California today and supposed to rain later this evening or tonight. Might just have to start the heater up for the first time this year and when I get home a fire log is going on for sure. For those of you back east, I know..I know...I'm a spoiled Calif. brat LOL.
Wishing everyone a very happy Sunday. I hope to check in later on this evening.

Good Afternoon LINDA L, LINDA W, PATTI, JAN, and EVERYONE who stops by.......Well, today is my B"Day and I wanted to say thank you to...Patti, Linda L, Linda W, Jan, Babette, Sheryle and Kenna Lou all of you guys for wishing me a happy birthday and sending the cute little pics. I love it all and they made me feel really special! Today ahs been a day that DH said we'd do anything I want and when I got up at 6 this morning I had the most severe headache I think I'd ever had. I took a couple Advil and went back to bed, got up at 8...still had it and just as bad, maybe worse, because now it was going into my ears! So I took a couple sinus tablets. THose things are a joke anymore..they took al the good sinus pills and changed the ingredients or something. Anyway after throwing around for hours what we were going to do and got DD and my MOM involved...I decided to just stay home and relax. My MOM had invited us all over for dinner, although she wasn't cooking it ,a few of my sisters were bringing food over to moms, but there would have been
way too many people and way too much noise there for me to enjoy
myself with this headache. And DD had a few things she needed to take care of so, which was ok with me , because I really did want to stay home. Now DH wanted to take me out for dinner and I said ..No we just ate out and we have alot of food here.
We got a phone call from DD last nite about dinner time, asking us if we wanted to go grab a burger and go bowling. Since I wasn't impressed with my turkey ...we went and tonite we are having turkey. Hope it's good!
*****LINDA L, Oh boy,,,,,yes vacation is coming up soon. I do pray you all have a great time. I know it will be good to see your son again.
You keep on posting and saying as much as you want..I do! lol We all would surely miss you ..so ignore the bad talk. Your good friends will always be here for YOU!!!!
*****LINDA W, So sorry your leg is hurting so bad...you've probably over done it trying to get the house decorated, shopping done, food in the house our body does have a way to tell us that we over-do! I know my foot hurts 24/7...but when I over-do it hurts so much worse! i have you surgery on my calendar for wed. morn right? I'll be praying for you. i feel so bad that your DD and the kids can't be there. You know if you would want to "PM" me ...I would love to have your home addy, so I could send you a card.
*****PATTI, Hey...what kind of dessert did you make? A NEW recipe?
*****JAN, Your soup sounds really good. At first I thought sweet potatoes, gr. bean casserole all mixed together!! But now I'm thinking it does sound delish! I can't believe it's cold out in CA....it's been very unseasonally warm here in W.V. Well like you said your soup will taste good on a chilly day.
Well I have to get going...time to finish up that stupied "TURKEY DINNER"
Hope everyone has a good evening...probably won't be back on until tomorrow..it's "AMAZING RACE and DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES" NITE!!!!
All my dear special friends ...you all take care...Debbie _________________ Debbie
