Chance will be going to doggie daycare on Tues n Thurs. Seeing we are gone for at least 8 hrs and he is in his crate he is still having issues with peeing in the crate. So to be fair to him and get him out we will put in daycare where he can run and roam and do whatever they do in daycare.
His going out schedule when we are home is the same when we are at work. He is fine when we are home but not fine in his crate.
So thats my update on Chance. Thing is that means I will be working work late these 2 days bc daycare doesnt open until 7:30am...I wont get to work until 8:30/9:00. Sigh. The things we do for our pets. |

Lids,
I hope that you found a good reputable doggie day care, it will make it easier to get him into a good preparatory school later on....
LOL, JK couldn't resist |

DD I really never thought I would be one of those people but he needs space to run and go. So 2 days a week will give him that. They will also monitor and train him a bit. Hoping this will stop him from peeing in his crate.
By the way as a side note Chance got a hold of one of my bras somehow and I went to see what he was doing. He came out from under the bed with the bra in his mouth. We need to make sure he has no access to anything that he can grab. Otherwise he is fine. |

I hear ya Lids, never thought I'd be one of "those" people either, however, I have a 75lb black lab/chow mix (Bear) that thinks hes a "lap" dog. I also have a maltese (Baby, yeah, I didn't name her) that's getting really old and cantankerous (but dang it, I still love her to death)
Now that I'm home all day they truly are like little toddlers. They follow "mommy" around all day and I have to admit, I've spoiled them rotten. |
