Good Morning, Holly and all to follow!
Yesterday, I tried baking for the first time since my surgery. Well, I thought by using a mix, Dutch speculaas cookies would be a snap. No, no. They were more of a hassle than baking from scratch. But they are tasty.
This week temperatures may climb into the upper 30's to low 40's. We may lose our snow. Shall we sing, "I'm dreaming of a Green Christmas?" (My children prefer snow on Christmas day, but a green Christmas would be fine with me.)
Have a blessed Sunday as you start this new week.
Hugs,
Vicki

Uh oh, looks like trouble on the board again! I am getting nervous about my address being listed on here. Maybe we should have stuck to p.m. ing each other. I hope Babette gets on here soon. I didn't click on the link but he did many postings with a link. Hope everyone is having a great weekend. I had a good time with my granddaughter yesterday, except she took a 3 hour nap! I think she is fighting off a cold, so I am sure it did her good. I guess I should be happy she sleeps so good here. She helped me bake cookies, she loves helping in the kitchen, takes after her Grammy I guess. Hope Debbie's Mom is feeling better today. Vicki, how are you doing? Holly, you amaze me with all those graphics! You really do cheer up the board everyday! Thank you. Jan, I don't remember, is it your first grandchild? I posted congratulaions on the other board, but in case you missed it, CONGRATULATIONS!!! Grandchildren are such a wonderful gift. My SIL surprised me yesterday, she brought one of those deer that lights up, a small Christmas tree, fake snow and decorations and fixed up my bay window all pretty for Christmas, she is just the most thoughtful person. She knew that we weren't going to be able to get our tree up this year and didn't want us to miss out on any of the Christmas spirit. I am blessed with wonderful in-laws.

Patti,
I believe the surgery is healing as it should. Without my contacts, I have a hard time determining how much my vision has changed. Will see the surgeon on Friday morning.

Hi Everyone
Sorry I wasn't on much today, I was cleaning and cleaning. I also made a baked ziti. I have the house in order for when I go into the hospital.
I am working tomorrow, running a meeting, so I will be busy.
I didn't see a troll on the board, hope it was cleared up.
Well off to get dressed to go to another Christmas party
Linda

Sounds wonderful, Wargofive-was looking for a new baked ziti recipe-the ones we have tried, so far, taste worse than Hamburger Helpless, er, we mean, Hamburger Helper! MTIA, many thanks, in advance, if you are able to share your tried & true Baked Ziti recipe with us-it is in the 20's right now and we need something like that |

Hello Holly,Vicki, and PattiT hope all of you had a good day. We just got home from the dog park. There were 29 doxies there. Plus all of their owners. We had some really good food there also. It was our Christmas party for all the little munchins and us. I had better get off another busy day making candy and cookies.
Anita!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
