Thanks. |
if it doesn't have to be a steakhouse, steer clear if price is an issue. last time i was there, the cheapest steak was about $30, whereas, Ruth's Chris, Spark's, The Palm, etc are probably about $10 more for everything _________________

There is a cute place called Sosa Borella on 50th and 8th -- Italian -Argentinian -- www.sosaborella.com
There is also 44 & X at (44th and 10th Ave) which serves "new american" food... www.44andx.com
Also Eatery NYC on 53rd & 9th -- www.eaterynyc.com/
And a place called Basilica which serves great bowls of homemade pasta and other Italian cuisine at a very reasonable price at 47th and 9th - Basilica
676 9th Ave
A fun touristy place that has good food is Sardi's...W44th between Broadway and 8th Ave.
Hope this helps

it's definitely cute and can be "romantic" without being overdone -- like they have little paper tablecloths with little candles but it does feel more like good food in a countryside setting. and there are cute waiters
i've always enjoyed the food there -- have been there with family (aunts and uncles), my sister and her friends, and just me and jedd. it's good like that.
