GOOD AFTERNOON TO ALL MY DEAR FRIENDS.....Well today is a little bit better...I'm saying everyday that there's a little inprovement is good. We are all afraid to be to obtimisic though, being Mom's had so many set-back's. mom is very very weak and today I feed her her lunch. She didn't eat much..a little bit of chicken broth, jello and some pudding. I told her she starting to eat like Cody(my 4 year old grandson)..liking all the sweet stuff. But at least she is eating. The doctors have all the fliud away from her heart amd they are not measuring her oxgyen levels in her blood as often as they were...So things are coming along. Probably by the beginning of next week they will have her at a re-hab center that specializes in lung disorders. Again I want to thank ALL of you wonderful friends for praying for my Mom and my family...I really appreciate it.
*****LINDA L, Welcome home girl. So glad you had a good time in Bonaire! I'm sure your visit with your son wasn't long enough. Vietnam huh? When will he know if he wants the job? Does he take a wife and family over with him? Dh and I have a friend that works all over the world, but mostly in Iraq and has a wife and DD that stays in Florida. He's only home for about 2 weeks a year. I told MY dh what kind of marriage ciould that be? But she likes the money...he makes about 200 grand a year! Anyway glad your back on the board..we missed you!
*****HOLLY, Hi and thanks for the cute graphics...they always make me smile. I haven't checked my "myspace "yet, but I seen where you left me a message. How's you DH's dad? Did he have his surgery? I really can't understand why people have to be so difficult! Prayers are going out for you and Johnto be strong enough to deal with him and for him and the surgery.
*****VICKI, So glad you made it to the doctor and that he gave you newantibiotic oinment for your eye. Did he say why it got infected? hopefully this new medicine will help it heal faster. You know I haven't bee in the "TEA ROOM" for several weeks...I need to stop by there sometime.
*****KENNA LOU, I wish I had my candy all made. I had several T & T recipes from the board that I wanted to try this year, but it looks like it'll have to wait til next year or maybe a few after CHRISTMAS! I don't even have my shopping started !! Thanks for remembering my Mom in your prayers; it's helping! Sounds like you had a wonderful day with your DD and the choir concert and then lunch...how fun is that!!
*****TONI, Glad you got a chance to stop in for a minute and say hi . Hope you had a quite, peaceful day at work.
*****JAN, Hope you and your son have fun making candy for the skating group. Is this ice skating or roller skating? It's nice that he takes the time to be a coach.
*****PATTI, You sounded very busy toady!Maybe tomorrow I can get a little bit of shopping done in between hospital visits! I've made brad before and it doesn't raise ...don't ya just hate that all those ingredients wasted!!
*****ANITA, A January Cruise huh? Boy that sounds like fun . What did you mean by caregivers? DO you go with a person that needs care? Where about is the cruise going? Am I full of questions or what?
Well girls ..I'd better get going it's dinner time and off to the hospital! I'll chat with ya tomorrow! Take care and Praying lots of BIG PRAYERS for LINDA W to have a speedy recovery with little pain! Debbie _________________ Debbie

Praying for your mom & you. Joseph Johnnie had his hip replacement surgery; his is tired and cranky, back to his old self. Many thanks to you for asking. Our close friend of 23 years and fellow church member, came back from the hospital-they did ultrasound on the blood clots in his legs and said they were not doing surgery on Lloyd until he complained the blood clots were HURTING him-2nd opinion, please, Lloyd! |
