Kelo- YOU did it! Love your christmas graphic!
Holly- I'll also continue to pray for your friends.
Ladies- think I'm coming down with something. Not feeling great- so if I don't make it on the board tomorrow you will know why.

Holly, I had posted some graphics previously, but for some reason this time it wouldn't work. The site that I got this one from said to just copy and paste the code, but when I did that, it just showed the code and not the actual picture.
The only way I was able to make it work, was to upload it to Photobucket and then go from there. It would sure be easier if the codes would work. I don't know why it wouldn't.
Linda if you think you're coming down with a cold or something, get you some Airborne and start taking it. My dd was trying to come down with something a couple of weeks ago, and I had 3 days worth of antibiotics left from when I had an upper respiratory infection, so I gave that to her and made her take a couple of doses of Airborne and she was fine in a couple of days. Now, I don't want anybody fussing at me about giving my daughter those left over antibiotics. You know you have all done it at one time or another. |

HELLO MY DEAR FRIENDS.....I'm finally home and boy am i ever tired. As soon as i got home .i changed in to my nitegown and took a pain pill for my foot and sat down here and read the mail and now chatting with you all. We went to our grandson's B'Day party..there was about 20/25 people. Cody had a really good time and got lots of nice gifts. Then we went to the Christain book store to get DH's sister a book she's been wanting for Christmas, then to the hospital to see Mom. She was about 1/2 asleep in the chair when we got there. It's really hard to talk to her because she can not hear for some reason. They were supposed to purge her ears today, but they haven't yet. She said they had her up for a walk today about 11:00 a.m., and she was asking for another when i was there, but the nurses said they were too busy. They won't let us walk her, so hopefully they do get time to do it. She still won't eat enough to kep a bird alive and the doctors ask her what they could do about ti and she told them to let her go home. She'll be going to the ARBORS re-hab sometime earlt next week, maybe they'll have better food. Went to Toys R Us after we left the hospital and now I think I've got both my DGS's taken care of for Christmas. So slowly I'm getting done. Tomorrow morning I think I'm going to get busy and wrap...I know I have to get the boys wrapped, because I watch them all day Monday.
*****JAN, How selfish of me of me ...I had completely forgot that you lost your DH last year and howmdifficult it must be without him , especially during the holidays. Will you forgive me for acting so self-absorbed with my Mom...when I should realize that others are hurting worse than me!!! I feel really bad....SORRY!! I bet it was fun to spend time with your Mom making that miracle fudge. Has she ever made it before? I did check out the Christmas tree pics...wonder if you can vote more than once?? I'll have to go back and check out chubbybears.
*****KENNA LOU, I'm soooo proud of you!!! You did it!!! Now what is this photopocket that you're talking about...I bet that's what I'm going to have to do. After the holidays I'll give it a try!
*****HOLLY, My ggodness girl...Prayers are going out for your dear friends Margie and Don. So glad that thier kids live close by.And prayers also for that "ONARY JOESPH JOHNNIE" It'll take at least a month of re-hab for him to feel somewhat better. My DMIL had a hip replacement last Nov. and she is just now getting to where she can walk ok. I didn't want to say anything to LINDA W. but when she gets home, there will be things that others take for grante, that she won't be able to do for awhile....like a bath, bending over, walking and a few other things I can't remember right now, but it does take time to heal.
*****LINDA L, I'm sorry you're feeling bad..hopefully you can nip it in the bud before the hoildays get here. There is another strain of that stomach virus running rapid around here and several of my family have gotten it...keeping my fingers crossed I don't. Sure hope you start feeling better.
Well I better get off here and go spend some time with my sweet DH ! Hope you all have a good nites rest and I'll be chatting with ya in the morning. Take care....Debbie _________________ Debbie

Debbie, I'm not sure that I'm the best person to tutor someone on posting pics. LOL! I only know what I have learned from others. Holly is a great teacher for this and a big help! Thanks, Holly.
Photobucket is a site where you can upload pictures, graphics, etc. When you upload something there, it gives you a code, then you copy and paste that code here or your myspace or whatever and the pics will post. Don't be scared to try it. Just make a test post and see if it works.
Continued prayers for your dear mom. Have a great weekend.
P.S. Girls, I'm so proud of myself. I got ALOT of presents wrapped this afternoon. My youngest DD is on a youth outing with the church right now, and I know when she comes home, she is going to go look and see if there are presents there. She is going to be so happy! |
