I have the same exact problems with the white chocolate chips and thought they were old. I heard they're not made of chocolate? Maybe that's why they don't melt well.

I made the miracle fudge an hour ago and oh my Lew, here is one to try
Duncan Hines Coconut Pecan with Nestle Milk Chocolate Chips YUMMO!!!!! This tastes like an Almond Joy bar. I guess that's good if you like Almond Joy bars Laughing . Can't wait to try some more combinations.

Hey all I guess we are all trying that recipe for tha fudge.Viki, that is a good idea about the bowls in a sauce pan, I have seen Emeril do that too and it works out very good. I made the white frosting with the white chips and I just used my saucepan and did it on low heat, didnt have to much of a problem. But I did make something last year with the white chips and had to throw it out to.I do think there is something about those white ones.
