Good Morning, Everyone!
How was your Christmas Day? Do you have much planned for the rest of the week?
I have only one gift to exchange.... a pair of superlong jeans. However, no one wants to exchange their chocolate Dutch letters.
Sending smiles your way,
Vicki

Good morning Vicki and all who follow. I hope everyone had a wonderful day yesterday and that you aren't too tired today. I didn't do much yesterday, but still had a nice day. I did get an email from Babette telling me that my blog was chosen as the blog of the week - not sure why, my blog is nothing special, but was excited none the less. I'm not sure what I'm going to do today, I guess I'll play it by ear.
Vicki - this is probably a silly question, but what are chocolate Dutch letters?
I hope everyone has a nice day - I'll check back in later.

Mornin Vicki, Sheryle and the one's to follow. Hope everyones Christmas was great. I love the Christmas season. Sad to see it over but I am also ready to get back to normal. Tired of walking around the tree and all the pretties setting around. Time to get back to normal.
Vicki, glad everyone was happy with their chocolet letters. I'd wait a few weeks before getting in the return line for your jeans. LOL
Sheryle, glad you have a nice Christmas also. Vicki xplained the letters to me. It is really neat.
Have a great day everyone.

Sheryle~~
Originally, Dutch letters were given for Sinterklaas (Dec 5 and 6). The letter is always the first letter of the first name. As fewer families celebrate Sinterklaas, Dutch letters are often given for Christmas. You can buy the small (2.3 ounces) or large (4.7 ounces) letters, milk or bittersweet chocolate.
I am happy for the cooler temperatures in Arizona... the Dutch letters we sent to my son's family did not melt. Yeah!!
Are we talking chocolate too early in the morning?

Hello everyone! Hope your Christmas was great!
We had a wonderful time but now my daughter has left to head back to DC and I miss her already.
Congratulations Sheryle on your blog! You are very deserving!!
I'm looking forward to a quiet day, just a short trip to the mall to get something for myself with my $10 off coupon from Macy's. Then relaxing, watching movies, etc. I am hoping to go to the movie "We Are Marshall" sometime in the next few days. My family is from that area and we remember that tragedy well.
Love to all!!

Good morning, Vicki, Sheryl, Kathy (good to have you back with us), and Suzanne and everyone that comes later.
It sounds like everyone had a great Christmas. I know I sure did. I don't have much on the agenda today, just washing a few towels and sheets, etc.
Guess what I got for Christmas? A digital camera!! Whoooo hoooo, I have been wanting one forever. Hopefully, I will be able to figure out how to use.
Suzanne, I know what you mean about missing your daughter. My parents and brother left at 6:00 this morning, to go back home. It's always so hard to say goodbye. Of course, I am extra emotional right now, because of the breast lump.
I got to the doctor at 10:15 tomorrow. I would appreciate everyone's prayers.
Have a great day!
Hugs, Kenna Lou |

Good morning to all.
I was up early this morning checked in here no one was on so I went back to bed, fell asleep until my youngest DGD woke me up telling me her mama messed up her cake and needed help.No real problem with the cake.
The cake is for her birthday, which is tomorrow she will be 6 years old,but we have to celebrate it today as everyone goes back to work tomorrow, all of them on different shifts.
After the noon party I'm going shopping and my DH is taking me out to eat.Tomorrow everything returns to normal, well at least partly ,school doesn't go back till next Wednesday, then it's all normal.
Sheryle congratulations on your blog being picked!!!!
Kenna Lou, Sending prayers that when you go to the dr. everything will be alright. My aunt had a lump a few years ago and it was nothing.Praying yours will be the same.
If anyone can tell me how to put graphics on here I'd appreciate it.
Hope all of you have a happy day today
