OK.. I don't know how to spell it.. but has anyone had success with Feng Shui? I'm thinking about changing my bedroom around to see if it helps me sleep better. My home office is a mess.. it needs some TLC.

Any ideas? Any suggestions? Anyone else crazy like me?

I've often wondered that too! I'll be interested to see the replies. Smile

I have a book I picked up someplace called "Move your stuff, change your life". When we moved, I tried to put things where it said to put them and if something comes up, I'll check with the book to see what it says.

I don't know if it's focusing on what you want to happen and bringing positive energy to it or what, but it works for me!

Very cool thanks!

I have to tell you.. I started with my bedroom and I think it's working. I have been sleeping better.. much better. Plus, I have one cat who at about 9pm goes and lays on my bed and from there she has a straight shot into the livingroom. So even though she sees Milo (her arch enemy) sitting on the couch, she seems more relaxed on the bed that she doesn't get up.

I'm starting the office today..

The feng shui book I bought was way over analytical about directions and such. So what I did was just print out the directions, colors and what means what in terms of corners of the room. I'm doing each room on it's own... hopefully it will work. Smile I'll let you know!

And if it works...you need to do a thread with the print outs and what you did...so all of us can cook in a tranquil environment and get some sleep... Laughing

Here is a site with some good general tips for your home. I've done all these things and we're happy and healthy!

Great site - thanks! I bought a book some time ago (on sale at Borders) and it's way too complicated. Degrees... colors.. fabrics... oh my! I like this site cause it just lists dos and don'ts. Thank you!!

There's lots of simpler lists out there. That's why I loved the book "Move Your Stuff, Change your life" It was just a list of tips on each area of your home.

You're right! Some of the books get way to complicated.
