Good Morning all
I am up early even though it is my vacation, I have to take my car in for a big repair job, then PT and then an Insurance adjuster is coming to the house to look at my carpet. Busy Busy, have to pick up my mom, maybe look for some pictures for my dining room.
I have to start thinking what I will bring to my brothers for Easter, I make a easter bread each year with the eggs and this years my girls said they don't want that. I still have to dye eggs though. And make a nice breakfast even though my DH has to work on Easter. so much to do this week!!!
Went to the Dr. yesterday and he said the hip is terrific, now to work on the knee.
Well everyone have a great day have to get dressed and start mine
Linda

Good Morning, Linda and all to follow,

Dropping in for a quick "Hello." I awoke to thunder and lightning storms, which are due to redevelop any time now. Since we experience frequent power outages, our computer gets unplugged during these storms. No baking, either. Oil lamps and flashlights ready and waiting.

Linda - So happy to hear the great doctor's report! Are you going to slow down at all during your vacation?

Thunder is starting to roll back in. Will try to check in later.

Hugs,
Vicki

Good afternoon everyone. Thought I would take a few minutes during my lunch hour to say hi. Well I think I've decided to update my resume and start bidding on some jobs within the university or maybe even look for something with the city or the city schools. I want to stay in the state retirement system so I don't want to go just anywhere. Last week was so wonderful when there were just three of us here, but this week it's back to the same old thing. Nagging, whining, complaining, people worrying about what the other is doing...I just can't take another 9 years of this! It's difficult for me to move on, I've been in this division about 18 years so I'll really be pulling up some roots. I just hope I can find something soon.

Pat - your granddaughters are so cute!

Vicki - the weather is nice right now but we are supposed to start getting some wicked storms this evening and on into the night and then the temps are supposed to drop. Winter will be here again for the next five days.

Linda L - thanks for putting a recipe thread out there. It's a good idea, I've had to go back through several threads trying to find recipes that I had forgotten to copy.

Linda W - I like the wedding pictures you posted yesterday.

Better get back to work!

Sheryle

HELLO LINDA W, PAT, VICKI,SHERYLE, LINDA L AND ALL OTHERS THAT STOP IN........Today has been rest day for me. I told DH that I wasn't doing anything today, because my foot hurt so bad from staying busy ALL day yesterday! There wasn't really anything that needed done anyway. I slept until 9:30 and then did my morning routine choures and then DD called and said her and the boys were coming over, so the boys could play. They got here about lunch time ...with lunch, so i didn't have to worry about that. Then we took the boys and the dog outside to let them play. today will be out last nice warm day for a week....it's going to storm and turn cold again!! YUCK!! DH came home a little bit early and he's outside mowing. I ask him to put the bagger on the mower, since this is our first time mowing and it's high...I didin't want the boys or us to drag grass in the house. We are having Tacos and Mexican Rice for dinner tonite. Dinner last nite was a hit with my dad! He loved my Spaghetti...I sent him home with a big bowl of it. The boys are spending the nite tonite. I told Cody he could if he was quite when American Idol came on.

***LINDA W, I love your little EasterGraphics. So glad your doctor gave a good report on your hip. Now that you're on spring break vacation...you need to relax! What happened to your car and your carpet, that the insuranse adjusters are checking it out?

***PAT, Very nice pictures of the girls. I need to put some on here of my 2 DGS's....I just need to learn how to do it. Tell them Isaid hello too.

***VICKI, We are due to get those storms about mid-nite tonite. Is your temps. turning cold too?

***SHERYLE, 18 years is a long time to give up. How do you know that som place else to work, you won't be getting into something else worse??

***LINDA L, Hey the recipe thread is a really good idea. Why didn't we think of that sooner?

Well I have to go start dinner....I'll talk to you soon! Take care...Debbie

Hello Linda W., Vicki, Pat, Sheryle, Debbie and everyone else who stops by today. Did anybody miss me? Hubby and I had a great mini vacation to celebrate 34 years together. If you ever have the chance to stay in Frederick MD, I recommend it the town is so beautiful. It has a huge park running from one end of the town to the other what a great idea. It has a manmade stream running through it and a man made lake it was great for nice romantic walks. The town itself has so many historical buildings etc. We just had a perfect time. Now today it is back to catching up on the laundry etc. It was exciting today though making the reservations for our vacation in Sept. it seems so far away now, but I am sure it will be here before we know it.
*Linda W., my husband is on call and we don't know if he will have to work on Easter or not. I am glad that you got a good report from your Dr.
*Vicki, sounds like you had some yucky weather today.
*Pat, What beautiful Granddaughters you have! Our weather today was nice also. I had all the windows open, quick before our cold snap hits.
*Sheryle, what a shame that you workplace has to be so stressful! Too bad the whiners don't find another job and leave you in peace.
*Debbie, glad to hear that your Dad liked your spaghetti so much. I am looking forward American Idol also. I wish I could teach my husband that using a bagger saves me a LOT of housework! It is nice that you got a chance to sleep in, you certainly deserve it.
Better go get something done.
Patti
