Hello to Pat, Kate, Vicki, Jennifer, Kenna Lou, Debbie, Sheryle and all my other BakeSpace friends who come by today.
Before I forget again, I have been remiss also! Thank you to Vicki for the beautiful e-card and Debbie for the beautifully floral card you two sent for Easter, you both are very thoughtful. I loved them both!
*Pat, sorry to hear that you have a back that gives you trouble also. Sounds like you slept like I did last night. I was hoping to get to sleep in at least a little but there was a car right outside my bedroom window that just kept honking its horn, til I got up to see what the problem was, apparently they were there for the neighbor and they never did come out!
*Kate, what a shame to be feeling under the weather for vacation, I hope your sinus' clear up quickly for you. It was cool and rainy here today also.
*Vicki, I am so glad that we got rain and not snow! I didn't have any problems logging on yesterday. Enjoy your daughter and grandchildren today.
*Jennifer, my youngest son just loved preschool, I hope you are able to find one for your son. We saw pictures on the news about the troubles that the snow was causing, I am glad that you made it home safe and sound.
*Kenna Lou, wow, 10 days, it is certainly time for you to start feeling better! Hopefully the Dr. will be able to help you also.
*Debbie, my MIL used to tell me to gargle with warm salt water, it really does seem to help. I agree with this wacky weather it is a wonder that everyone isn't sick! Hope you had a great time at breakfast.
*Sheryle, I thought that chalkboard table cloth was a very neat idea. I am glad that you are able to work shorter hours, it would be really hard to sit at your desk with your back hurting.
Hubby drove me to my hair appointment this morning, it was really getting shaggy. We went to an Amish Farm Market then, a new one we had never been to before and got a couple of jarred goods and picked up good things for lunch, now I have laundry in and that will probably be the extent of my day. Hope everyone starts to feel better,
Patti Smile

Ok, now I am feeling guilty for not thanking Vicki and Debbie for their cards, so THANK YOU VICKI and DEBBIE. I guess my head has been so stuffed up that I haven't even thought about it. It was very sweet of both of you to think of me and everyone else here, too!

I took Hailey to the doctor this morning and she has an upper respiratory infection. He gave me antibiotics, too, so hopefully I will start feeling better soon. He also told me to take Mucinex. So, I bought the generic one at Walmart that is for sinus relief. It said on the box, "immediate relief," and boy they weren't kidding. I have been blowing my nose ever since I took it. I'm glad I got antibiotic, because I now believe that I have sinus infection, too. I wish I had thought about the Mucinex last week, it would have helped so much!

I hope everyone feels better soon!

My DIL swears by that Mucinex, I am thinking of getting some to keep on hand, who feels like shopping for it when they are sick?

Good evening everyone. I made it through the afternoon, but had to take a pain pill to do it. We are going to have a mini bridal shower at work for our student employee and I made a Fiesta Dip using my Tastefully Simple dip mix. Boy am I ever glad I had that on hand since I don't think I'm quite up to make something that takes a lot of work. One of my co-workers is going to make cupcakes so tomorrow we will give Ashley her gift and have some treats too.

Patti - I love going to Amish markets...we just had one open up about 12 miles from me and I love going there.

Kenna Lou - I'm so glad you got some medicine from the doctor and have found something that will give you some relief. I'll have to remember to by some Mucinex...having a stuffed up head is miserable.

I just heard my microwave beep...dinner's ready!
