Well another busy week for us. We had a new water softner put in on Tuesday evening. Haven't really noticed a huge difference, but I'll see on laundry day.

I caught the head cold that's going around. It's all in the head and it's got me good. Glad that today is the end of my work week so that MAYBE I'll rest and feel better on Monday. I was the last to get it in our family, thought maybe I was going to get lucky and not get a spring cold. They seem to always be the worst. Oh well!!

Supposed to be getting a new drain field soon also. This is how we spend our tax return, upgrades to the house. I would rather be doing inside remodeling but these other things HAD to be done. Maybe next year.

My DM went to the Dr. Friday and they are talking about doing radiation. My DD wants a second opinion. I think we all that it was over, but now they've thrown us another curve. They told my DM they want to make sure this doesn't happen again. She goes to see the radiation Dr. next week.

Hope Everyone has a great day!!! Very Happy

Good morning, Jennifer! I hope you feel better soon. I had that "crud" a couple of weeks ago and it took me two weeks to get over it. Do yourself a favor and get some Mucinex. I bought the generic brand that was "sinus relief" and boy, that stuff really worked!

Not much is going on here today. I'm just finishing up the laundry and such today.

Hello to everyone who stops in later. I hope you all have a great day! I look forward each day to the time I spend here with all of you!

Hugs, Kenna Lou

GOOD MORNING JENNIFER,KENNA, PAT AND ALL MY BAKESPACE FRIENDS that stop in today........I would LOVE it if we all could get together for a cup of coffee and chat a while! Hope everyone's day is off to a good start. I got up this morning and did a few of my morning chores, but have a few more things I need to do still yet, but I decided to take a break and chat with you all for a while before the morning gets away from me. We are supposed to get severe storms this afternoon, with large hail and high winds. I don't lke storms like that! DSIL has been working a wierd shift (11am to 11pm) so DD and the boys have been coming over and ahnging out and eating dinner with us. Last nitewewent out , but tonite I'm fixing something easy....Cheeseburgers, Fried Potatoes, and DD wants Hominey too! Works for me.

***JENNIFER....Good to see you stop in. Sorry got that spring cold. I think everyone on here has had it too. I agree with you seems like the spring colds make you feel worse. I can't seem to get rid of my cough that I had with mine and DH's turned into a sinus infection! Anyway I hope you can recoup this week-end and feel better by Monday! Keeping your Mom in my prayers, that everying turns out ok for her.

***KENNA....DH bought him some of that Musinex and it worked for him too. I'm like you ...I looked forward to coming on-line everyday and chatting with all my friends.

***PAT....Wonder why your graphics aren't showing up? What acute name the girls gave thier puppy. Part Lab and part'll be a nice size dog! I'll bet Kristen is exciting about going to Middle school, isn't she?

Well, I better get off here, DD just called and they are on thier way over I told Cody he could spend the nite tonite and now he wants Blake to spend the nite too. So I'll have both the boys tonite.......I hope they sleep better tonite than they did the other nite...both of them were awake at least 4 times through the nite. I was ready for a morning nap by 11! Hello to everyone stopping in after me! Have a great day and stay safe in these storms we will be getting today! Take care and Smile at someone today! Debbie

Good morning, Debbie and Pat!

Debbie, I'm so glad that the Mucinex is helping Jim. It sure worked for me. I wish I had thought about taking it sooner and maybe I will have been well quicker. Also, I enjoyed looking at all of your pics on myspace. Your grandkids are adorable. And your mom - well, she just looks like she was so much fun! I know you miss her, but she is still with you in spirit! (((Debbie)))

Pat, I don't know if you're doing something wrong when you post your graphics. But I used dazzlejunction one time when I posted one. It was there when I posted, then later, I came back and looked at it and it wasn't there. If you use Mozilla for your browser, it could be something with that. I know I had that problem when I tried to post some comments on myspace. It would show up like two little dots! Hope this helps.

No cooking for me tonight! We are having the leftover beans from last night!

Good morning, Jennifer, Kenna Lou, Pat, Debbie and all my other BakeSpace friends.
*Jennifer, when we had a new water softener put in I was able to cut way back on the amount of detergent I was using, shampoo etc. also. I know what you mean about putting stuff like that in, it seems like something not noticeable like furniture or painting etc. Sorry to hear that you are not feeling well now. I will put you DM in my prayers.
*Kenna Lou, you sure did have that "crud" a long time didnt' you. I love coming in here and "talking" to everyone also.
*Pat, I don't have too much planned for today either, balancing my checkbook and little odds and ends like that. I bet that dog is real cute. It seems like such a cute combination. We had a black lab, german shepherd mix and he was so cute.
*Debbie, what a cute graphic, I would love it if we could all gather together for coffee, if everyone wants to meet here I will even bake a nice coffee cake, brownies or whatever everyone wants. Hope you don't get that bad storm you are expecting. I am so hungry for a cheeseburger, now you have me drooling.
Well, the electrician couldn't find the problem and "our guy" for the air/heat system it leaving in the morning for a trip and can't get out tonite, so I told him we would wait for him to get back, he thinks he knows what the problem is. It is a little uncomfortable here, but the temps aren't to be too bad, so we will tough it out. He said that there was nothing wrong with the breaker that the electrician replaced, I told him I hadn't thought so but I figured he just wanted it to look like he had done something to help us. Hope he doesn't charge too much. He said he would send us a bill. Well, back to balancing the checkbook for me.
