Good morning, all! It's Friday! Yesterday was my daughter's last day of school. I should be sleeping in this morning, but I woke up at my usual time.

Not much on the agenda for today. My DH is slowly but surely getting better. Last night, Hailey started getting sniffly, so I hope she doesn't get it. My throat has been feeling scratchy off and on all week, too. This morning, I woke up and couldn't breathe through my nose!

I hope everyone has a great day! Catch ya later!

Hugs, Kenna Lou

Good morning Kenna Lou and all who follow. I don't have much planned today...except for counting the hours until I'm able to brush my teeth. I read on the dishcharge instructions that after 24 hours I can brush and then start rinsing my mouth with salt water so in about 2 hours I'm doing both...can't wait! I just took my antibiotic and eating yogurt for breakfast...still have to eat soft to semi-soft foods for a little while. At 10:00 last night I was playing a computer game and my phone rang...it was the oral surgeon calling to check on how I was doing. I was surprised by that.

Kenna Lou - I find that, after getting up early for so long, that it is sometimes hard to sleep in, but after a few days I am able to. Do you like it when school is out? I hear so many people say they are always happy for their children to be back in school, and it surprises me. My mother always loved it when we were on vacation and hated the summer to end almost as much as we did. Glad to hear DH is feeling better and hope you and Hailey can avoid it or at least not get is sick as you did last time.

I'm getting a little sleepy, must be left over from the pain pill I took last night, so will close for now, finish my yougut and watch Martha Stewart until I fall a sleep. Something tells me I may be sleeping a good bit today.

Have a great day!
Sheryle

Good morning Sheryle, Kenna Lou and all my other fantastic BakeSpace friends! It is going to be another hot day here today. I am off to a bad cooking day, I thought I had everything I needed to make a new chicken salad, just looked up the recipe and it says, don't even try skipping this one ingredient, it makes the salad, naturally I didn't get it at the store!! Oh well, I will make the chicken salad I always make.
*Sheryle, I hope you don't get too sore or bruised from your dental work. It is nice that you and your sister are close and help each other. I bet you felt a lot better after you were able to brush your teeth, hope it went well and nothing hurt when you did it. I was always told that sleep is the best thing for healing your body, so rest away my friend.
*Kenna Lou, I am not usually any good at sleeping in either. I wonder if you and your daughter are bothered with allergies, I have been having a heck of a time with them this year. You two just can't get sick now! It is summertime!
I will check back later and see how everyone is doing.
Bye for now,
Patti

GOOD MORNING KENNA, SHERYLE, PATTI AND EVERYONE that stops in today! Yea...it's Friday! Dh has been looking forward to this day for a while, I think because he has Monday off! He's got so much vacation build up and we can't really do too much of anything, because most things require walking and I can't do that. I really need to get one of those motorized scooters.I've tried several times and I'm always told ...it'll cost you approx. 1,00.00 dollars! I know that's a lot less than the full amount, but still to expensive for me! I'm going to sort thre laundry and start it and go through my kitchen cabinets for kitchen toys i don't want anymore and price them for the garage sale. DD is coming over and we are going to Walmart, she has a few things she needs and I'm going to pick up a few groceries. Vicki, I'm going to get the ingredients for that Strawberry Cake you gave us the recipe for and make it this week-end! Yum-O! I think that's all I have on my agenda for the day, but that's enough!

***KENNA, Hi and Happy Friday! Glad your DH is feeling a bit better. Hope you and Hailey can steer clear of it. It's certainly been a bad spring for colds! I never use to get sick, even in the winter, but this year, I've been sick more times than I care to remember. Is Hailey glad school's out? Are you? I always looked forward to summer when DD was in school and of course so did she! `Do you all have anything planned for summer break?

***SHERYLE. Hi and Happy Friday ! Glad your getting along OK. How nice for you dentist to call you last nite and check on you! That is almost unheard of...usually if you ARE called, it's the nurse! You must have made quite an impression on him ..LOL! So how long before you are able to eat regular food? Probably by this evening or at least by morning you should be back on a regular routine and schedule. Well, get some more rest, there's nothing like rest when you're on the mend!

***PATTI, Hi and Happy Friday! That's so cool..you and I are both making Chicken Salad! What was the one ingredient that you forgot to pick up at the store for the other recipe. Dh and I like to snack on Chicken Salad with crackers.

To the rest of my DEAR FRIENDS that haven't stopped in yet...I say Hello and Happy Friday to you ALL also! I wish everyone a beautiful day today! I'll stop back in after dinner tonite...which by the way is ging to be Cheeseburgers onn the grill>>>>Cody's request! Love and hugs to All....Debbie

Debbie the ingredient I forgot was water chestnuts, the person that gave me the recipe said it just wouldn't be the same without them. We like our chicken salad with some Wheat Thins or other crackers. By the way, I made that strawberry cake and it was delicious.

HI FRIENDS.....Well the day is about over and I think I can finally set down for a few minutes. DH grilled Hamburgers and we had Chips and Cottage Cheese with it and even ate on paper plates, so not many things to wash up! DD and the boys and I rn a few arreands this afternoon and went to Wal-Mart for a few groceries. That place was busy...you'd think there was a HOLIDAY coming up or something!
****PATTI....I pick up all the ingredients for that Strawberry Cake and I'll make it either tomorrow or Sunday. I can't wait to try it!
After we got back from the store, we went outside and let the boys play, Boy is it ever hot. the temp is only 85 and the humidity is low, but the air-conditioned house felt so much better! I'm working on an address list for my 2 sisters....they are going to have DD a Baby Shower in August! I've already ordered the baby a Cradle. DD seen one that her Cousins FIL made and it WAS beautiful. They had it all done up with a mobile and baby girl bedding..so, so pretty! So I'm having him make Avayah one! He's only going to charge 50 dollars and that's for the wood, but I'm giving him another 100 to cover his time.

Well, I'm getting off for now...DH is putting up a fan on the patio and I better see if he needs help . Have a quite evening and I'll chat with everyoner in the morning! Love Ya all....Debbie
