|

Wal-Mart announced that sometime in 2009, it would begin offering customers a new discount item: Wal-Mart's own brand of wine. The world's largest retail chain is rumored to be teaming up with Ernest & Julio Gallo Winery of California to produce the spirits at an affordable price - in the $2 to $5 range.
Wine connoisseurs may not be inclined to put a bottle of the Wal-Mart brand into their shopping carts, but "There is a market for inexpensive wine," said Kathy Micken, Professor of Marketing at the University of Arkansas , Bentonville. "However, branding will be very important."
Customer surveys were conducted to determine the most attractive name for the Wal-Mart wine brand. The top surveyed names in order of popularity were:
10. Chateau Traileur Parc
9. White Trashfindel
8. Big Red Gulp
7. World Championship Riesling
6. NASCARbernet
5. Chef Boyardeaux
4 . Peanut Noir
3. I Can't Believe it's not Vinegar
2. Grape Expectations
1. Nasti Spumante
The beauty of Wal-Mart wine is that it can be served with either white meat (Possum) or red meat (Squirrel).
P.S. Don't bother writing back that this is a hoax. I know possum is not a white meat |

but does the house rumble as the gears are shifted, all day long? and do you feel like you need to jump out of the way or else you'll get run over cuz you hear that car coming, but since its in surround sound....you have nooo idea which direction its coming from? Do you keep thinking you can smell exhaust? As the cars go around the track...zooom, zooom zooom...do you stand there in anticipation of the after breeze messing up your hair? oooh, ya...some free sunday that is!! _________________ Danielle

Hahahahahaha!
Here's the REALLY bad part. Not only do we have surround sound upstairs in the living room, we have another system downstairs in the family room. So Sunday's is like the "battle of the sexes". If he gets too irritating up there I just crank up the cheesy lifetime chick flicks. (that a learn him! HA!)
So to answer your question....it's usually the girls and dogs who suffer |

Hey ya'll
So , will the new box on the block be measured in ounces ? I've seen Target carries their own brand of wine , but it's a wine cube . They seem to sell alot of it . Who doesn't need 3 liters of wine for a few bucks ? Still though , the market for cheap wine is expanding .
