Jess (my daughter) informed me night before last that her friend was graduating beauty school today. It was so last minute that I had to use some stuff I had in the freezer. This was a new chocolate fondant recipe that I had made but hadn't used yet. The taste was really good, but alas, I still had a bit of cracking. (I'll keep looking) I had no idea what colors she would like so I just picked colors/pattern that I saw on a shower curtain (of all things) How funny is that??? Where it looks "yellow", it was actually a lime green color.

DD, what a great looking cake. I think if I stay around you guys long enough I might try more cakes and decorating, or at least push Nicole to try it. She has more patience than me. _________________ Karen

Yes, I got her the middle of the line tool box kit from Wilton. She also wanted a new Ipod, so I couldn't spend too much on the cake decorating stuff. She said she really liked it and it has room for the tips and icing things she already had. I also bought a new cupcake tree, but then she said she had gotten one too, so I just kept it. Happy day to me. I think we are going there for Easter, so I might get her some things to put in her basket. _________________ Karen
