HELLO BAKESPACE FRIENDS.......Where's Everyone at? Still at church? I won't make this very windy, as my dad is on his way over. That's why I'm a litle late getting on ...been straightening up the house and fixing a dessert for when he comes over. Just brownies..nothing real special...I didn't have too much time to plan anything. He has been stopping by after church, which is usually about noon time, but his cousins took him out to lunch and he called this morning and said he'd stop by for the dessert...only joking, but I'll surprise him with a brownie! We had a very nice get together at Tiffany's last nite and a real good dinner. I never thought she'd turn out to be a cook, simple because she Never took any interest in cooking when she lived at home....BUT she has turned out to be a really good cook in 2 years time! I'm very proud of her! I don't have too much else planned for today...I'm very , very sleepy, so I might take a nap after dad leaves...I got up too early (6:30 am) Well, I'll get off here and hope someone else wants to chat too! Have a wonderful day! Take care and HUGS to ALL......Debbie

Hi Everyone!

I just got to work, and our systems are down so here I am wasting time until they come back up Smile

I had a little bit of trouble getting in here though...I stopped at a gas station to get gas, and while I was pulling up in front of the pumps my steering wheel locked..I couldn't move it an inch! So I turned the car off and tried to get the key out of the ignition - it was stuck too! I didn't have my cell phone on me (it figures haha) so I ran into the gas station and asked to use the phone. I called John and he said he'd come down, but when I got off the phone the nice guy at the gas station offered to help me out...he had the key out and the steering wheel unlocked in no time! He said he has the same kind of car as me and it's happened to him too, he doesn't know why, but he sure does know how to fix it! I was so so grateful that he was willing to help me out, because neither DH or I know a whole ton about cars and probably would have just pushed it off to the side and called CAA haha

I'm feeling really good today - my headache has finally gone away! I've been waiting for MONTHS to get in to see my doctor about them, but things keep coming up and I keep having to reschedule Sad Hopefully I can get in sooner rather than later!

I was just like Tiffany - I never really took any interest in cooking while I was at home, and pretty much taught myself (with a bit of advise here and there from Mom) and now I can work up a storm in the kitchen! It must be in the genes Smile Hope you have a nice time with your dad today!

Everyone else - I hope you all have a great day!

Hi Melissa, Sorry to hear you had some car trouble and if the service station guy has the same car with the same trouble...maybe the problem should be taken to the car dealership......they might fix it for free. Glad you're feeling better today, sometimes those headaches are hard to get rid of. I have really bad headaches alot lately too. I don't know if it's my eyes and I need new glasses or wheher it's my Blood Pressure causing them BUT until I can find out from my doctor....I've been taking "Excederin for Migrains" and it does wonders on a headache. Yes, we had a nice short visit with my dad ..he ws here long enogh for a cup of coffee and a brownie and then had some things to do at his house. I have a feeling he as ready for his afternoon nap! I feel bad for him, because I know how lonely he iswhen he goes home to an empty house. Sunday's at thier house was always full of kids and grandkids...... Since my Mom passed away a few months ago, no one goes over there too much on Sundays...partly because he's off somewhere else and partly because it's just too painul to try and act happy at Mom's when she's NOT there! But my dad does keep busy and he has all us kids and lots of friends to keep him company too! Gotta I said before glad you feel better and I'll be chatting with you again soon! take care.....Debbie
