Hey there! I'm looking for a recipe that I used to have out of a magazine. I can't remember which magazine, but it was for chicken stuffed peppers. It had chicken & rice in a white sauce and you used yellow, red or orange peppers. Anyone heard of or have a recipe for these??

thanks!!!

Ari,

Do you remember the “flavor” of the recipe? I guess I mean do you remember it as an ethnic recipe or basic American? Do you remember an of the predominant flavorings?

You know, I think it maybe had a basic bechemel (sp?) sauce and some herbs. I know it wasn't a tomato base at all. The filling was really creamy. I should really just try to throw something together on my own and see what happens. Have you ever had anything like this?

Ari,

I looked around. There are SO many recipes for this with an asian flavor but that's clearly not like the one you remember. I founc this one on a website called http://www.3fatchicks.com

It looks really tasty and you can probably use it as a starting point and adjust, subtract, add what you like. Let us know!

Hey Eric. I haven't made it yet. I'm leaving for vacation Thurs morning so I'm not sure if I'll get a chance to make it before I leave. Trying to use up everything in the fridge before I go! Wink I will keep you posted on how it turns out when I do though.
Warm regards,
Ari
