Good Morning, Friends!

What lovely weather with temperatures more like late May and early June! (Our last frost is typically between May 10 and May 20.) Yesterday, I noticed the leaves starting to unfurl on the maple trees and lilac bushes. Birds have arrived... we hear them chirping before dawn. Children have pulled out the skate boards, bicycles, etc... AND, the number of people we've seen in shorts and capris!

With these warmer temperatures, I was wishing for corn on the cob... local varieties not available for a few months. I can't wait to buy fresh, local produce. I may make potato salad today! Want to join us for a picnic! Smile

Have a great day!
~~Vicki

GOOD MORNING VICKI AND OTHERS....I have been noticing all the same things that point to Spring time. Matter of fact I seen two birds building nests in one of the shrubbery in front of the house....guess what It needs a good re-shaping too...guess we'll have to wait. The other day I was wishing we could have taken Kujo on one of our little Picnics, but Jim was working. Lots of kids headed for the city pool which isn't too far from the house. So yes Spring is close, but I still remember the Big Easter snow we had oh about 20 yrs. ago and it was very unexpected by everyone. At least we can enjoy these nice days when we get them.

Potato Salad and a Picnic huh? I'd love to come but by the time Jim got off work and we drove there, dinner would be over long ago. Sounds fun though. Now you'll have me thinking about that all day along with the corn on the cob! I can't wait to fix that either....nothing better!

Well I decide about mid-afternoon that I wasn't going to join my Sisters for dinner out. Tiffany said a few times she'd pick me up, but I was in alot of pain with my leg and really not alert enough to hold a conversation and that was caused from lack of sleep. Tiffany did call on her way home from dinner and it was 10 o'clock and they had reservations at 6, so they were there for 4 hrs! I never would have made it that long.

Not alot planned for today. Jim wants me laying down with the Wedge under my legs. They are swollen to the point of going back to the hospital to get the fluid drained! Told Jim that scares me, because the last time we were going to do something as simple as that , I was there for 10 days and they killed me once, almost twice. Not sure about dinner either, I'm sure I'll figure out something before the time comes around.

Gotta get going and get ready to lay back ion the bed with the wedge! Good place to be since it's raining and cloudy and a wee bit on the cooler side. Hope your day goes well and Vicki, thanks for taking the time to stop in. HUGS to ALL!

Hello everybody, have a smashing Friday Very Happy

My weekend has started in a stat of panic. My SIL called last night telling me she and my brother would come over and pay me a visit. So I badly need to clean up the living, declutter the dining table, get rid f the spider webs and cat hair Shocked . Then I need to cook something for lunch, but what do I cook for someone [my brother] who only likes chicken water for soup?
Vicki, you are skipping Spring Laughing But I definitely want to enjoy the daffodils first.

Though I did dive into the shelves for my shorts Wink and did my first batch of ironing in the backyard already.
Debbie, sorry to hear your legs are so bad again, but please don't wait too long with seeking treatment. Take good care of your self
Martha, glad I can be of any help with the bug phobias Laughing Just keep in mind it's okay to be afraid of something, but it's a waste of energy being hysterical about it.
Ann-Marie, how are the babies doing?
PattiT, see ya tomorrow
Nubbins, how's Rosie?
