Good Morning, Friends!

How was your Easter weekend? My Michigan children and grandchildren joined us for church and brunch. It was warm enough for the guys to play basketball while the brunch casserole baking. And, my granddaughters found hyacinths and dandelions to give bouquets to their mom, aunt, and me. It wasn't long before they left to visit the other side of their families.

Have a great day!
~~Vicki

Hey Y'all:

Hope everyone had a great Easter.

The effects of the drive Friday nite are still here. The elephant is off my chest, hope it stays away.

Waiting for my mower to be delivered, probably won't get here until late afternoon. Spent time yesterday picking up more limbs & things outside. Was a beautiful day.

After emptying the truck GS loaded it with our trash cans & more stuff from outside to take to the dump (actually is a recycle center). There are dumpsters for trash-cardboard-cans & 3 cement bins for yard waste, metal & furniture. Nice set up & free.

Also spent some time with small repairs inside yesterday.

I have started taking Vitamin B 12 tablets every day & it improved my stamina & out look in general. They are real small - you put them under your tongue & they melt away.

Hope anyone feeling like kaka will start feeling better.

Is anyone surprised that the teacher-student affair is over??? I'm not!!!

Y'all take care...

Hi everybody, have a great day Very Happy

I've been doing nothing apart from working on yesterday's pics. It's been raining all day and I was even torn between opening the curtains or not since it basically didn't get any lighter if I'd open them. My neighbour's white van parked in front of my house is brighter than daylight.
Nevertheless I did have a nice busy day yesterday at the butterfly garden Smile

I was accompanied by my neighbour and his dog James, so afterwards we made a walk with the dog in the fields. The catkins are almost finished by now. I was quite pooped after being so active. I opted for a simple dinner with chilled avocado soup [no cook] and boneless chicken breast with haloumi from the oven.

Vicki, a flower hunt instead of an egg hunt? That's soo sweet of them Very Happy
Nubbins, glad you are feeling happier. Have fun playing with the new mower Laughing
Caroline, I hope you are feeling better today

HELLO GIRLS...Boy this past few days has just blown by! Went so fast I don't even remember what happen what day. I just know I was extremely tired yesterday morning and felt worse as the day went on. Jim came up and hugged me and I laid my head on his chest and said, "This is what I would like to have for Easter, a day of laying my head on your chest and listening to your heart beat!" Sure wasn't looking forward to doing a whole day of visiting. Plus everything I tried to make didn't turn out , probably because my heart just wasn't in it. Anyway, we went to Jim's Parents and had a little bite of lunch with them...not really in my original plan to eat and then out to Tiffany and Mat.....I wanted to get out there a little early before Mat's side of the family got there. She had most all the dinner done and ready to go, house was all cleaned, candles lite...she such an organized person...takes it after me when I was younger. Anyway, hope everyone's EASTER was nice. The weather was wonderful...a little bit of a chilly breeze though.

**VICKI, Nice to hear you had a nice time with family.

**FAM, Nice pics. Glad you enjoyed your neighbor and his dogs company.

I really need to get off here....making all kinds of spelling mistakes. Maybe I'll be back later. HUGS!

Good afternoon all. It is quite windy here today. The house felt chilly all morning. Easter could not have been any better at our house. All family members were able to get here, so glad for that. The weather was nice for the Easter egg hunt. The dinner was a big hit, my two DIL's cleaned up the kitchen for me, that was greatly appreciated. All my fellas and Madison played baseball for several hours. It was an afternoon and evening of visiting with each other.
For some reason I am feeling so exhausted today, I really didn't do much yesterday and I thought I slept good last night. Oh well, maybe I could squeeze in a nap after the laundry is done and before I start dinner.
**Vicki, it sounds like you had a wonderful day with your family also. How sweet of the kids to pick the flower bouquets. Our hyacinths are over, as are the daffodils. I picked some Siberian iris' to make our centerpiece for the table.
**Pat, it is wonderful to hear how lifted your spirits seem. Is the mower the one that the neighbor or friend took to repair? I sure hope you didn't have to go and buy another one. Sounds like GS is being a big help to you, that is nice to read. I hope the elephant stays far far away from you.
**Fan, that meal is so very very colorful and looks delicious. I liked what you did with your eggs. Very cute faces you put on them. I am guessing that the picture you posted is a moth? So pretty no matter if it is a butterfly or a moth. Glad you were able to enjoy the outdoors yesterday since you have a rainy day today.
**Debbie, sorry that you weren't feeling better for Easter. You are really worrying me, it doesn't seem like you should be waiting for your Dr.s appt. Seems like you should see somebody now. It is such a shame that you are not able to enjoy family times because you are just not feeling well.

Gotta go empty the dryer.

Hello Everybody!
Glad to hear everyone had a nice holiday. Mine was just lazy and peaceful. I'm so glad the weather cooperated, lots of times Easter is cold and rainy... or even snowy. Today was nice and sunny but pretty windy and only around 50°. I mowed my lawn for the first time this year!! Very Happy I love mowing the lawn and it looks so nice when it's finished.

Patti:

Unfortunately I did have to buy another mower. I trusted someone to take my old one to be repaired last July I think & haven't seen or heard about it since. He was a stranger that had helped tow away a truck from my yard, & a few other things. After his 3rd time here I thought I could trust him. He wouldn't return my calls. Notified Sheriff's office but did not file formal complaint, didn't want the hassle & upset.

Actually didn't get delivered yesterday, just got a call from the driver that he is on his way right now with it.

Take care...
