GOOD MORNING GIRLS....And I mean "EARLY" morning! Went to bed with both knees hurting, once I was in bed I thought, I should have taken Advil, anyway I did manage to get some sleep til about 1:30, so took some then, back to bed, back up at 3:30 with knees still hurting and decided to stay up. So I'm here in the spare bedroom where the computer is and rubbed my knees with Rubbing Alcohol and that HAS eased the pain some. I'll go back to bed when I finish here.

Yesterday Tiffany called and ask if it would be OK if she came over today to clean and Cody was going to mow..well sure I said. I guess she only has a few kids today and their parents will be getting them by noon. After she cleans she's gonna run to the store and pick me up some Easter things for the kids. I usually know what to get them, but this year I don't. We are also going to work on our Easter menu and if there things we still need to get, she'll get that too.

Then when Jim came home from work he was telling me that he was off today, so I told him that Tiffany and I had already made some plans, only because I didn't realize he was off, so I'm not sure what he'll get into...hang out with us, or go motorcycle riding work on cleaning out the building out back......there's a number of things he could get into.

I think we managed to dodge the Easter Snow Storm that we have been known to get. Matter of fact for the past few days it's been nice, but the last rain we had brought in some cold air and it doesn't want to move on, so temps. are only in the mid 50's during the day and almost freezing at nite......furnace temps...and I hate that.

Not sure about dinner tonite, it depends on if Tiffany and the kids are here. If they are it'll be Taco's and Mexican Rice, if it's just Jim and I we'll eat the rest of the Lasagna and a Salad.

**CAROLYN, If I were sick and feeling like you do, there's No Way I could handle that many people by myself. Can't the girls help you and take some of the stress off you? I know one thing They could do and that's make their kids settle down and respect the fact your not feeling good. I guess I'm so use to being here at the house by myself during the day, that I know I couldn't do it. Hope you get those Lime Disease test results back soon. You wouldn't think it'd take but a few days to hear back from the doctor. Sounds like Charlie is feeling some better if he's out chopping wood. Hope he doesn't over do though. You take care of yourself and I'll keep you in my prayers.

**PAT, Awww, I almost cried when reading your post from yesterday. To have him back to reality and know you and talk with you and he's feeling some better. Do you think it is the Patch that put on him? It's a Miracle patch if it was. I'm sure the Balloons bright smiles to his face. Did he remember it was his Birthday? Congratulations on buying yourself a New TOY! You really needed it , so don't think of it as a bad thing to have to have spent the money. Tiffany and Mat's riding mower bit the dust finally, it was one his Grandpa gave him when they moved in this house....lots of grass to mow. They have a push mower and I told her That I remember Jim mowing our acre of property with a push mower for a few years before we could get a rider...so get his buns out there and get him started!

Well it's a little after 4 and my knees have eased up so I think I'll try to get some more sleep. I'll check in later. HUGS!

Morning,

Fan - 5 of the little critters. Smile

Pat/nubs - so glad to hear you talk about your DH and that he is feeling a bit better. Reading your post, had to smile.

Debbie - yeah, we've gotten that colder weather too. Sad That week it was in the 70's & 80's really spoiled me, hate putting on my winter coat again. Confused

Not much new.

Later,
Ann

Hey Y'all:

Debbie I'm sorry you are in so much pain, wish there was something I could do or suggest that would help. I hate hearing friends are in pain.

It was great having good news to deliver about my dh for a change. Yes, I think his change in mental status is due to the patch. I know it has seemed to work miracles with some patients. Have a friend whose father is on it & it has made a huge difference in his thinking.

GS has gone out with his friends for a Guys Day Out, took my vehicle so I am not only vehicle less but actually ALONE. This doesn't happen very often, feels REALLY strange....but NICE Very Happy

Will not do any work outside today, don't want to end up under a tree limb with no one to help me. Will get into safe things inside....Heaven knows there is plenty to do.

I feel good about buying the mower. I have not had any credit for about 15 years so I bought this on a 12 month same as cash thingy. This will open my credit up again, which I think is a good idea...plus there is no interest charged Very Happy

Hope everyone has a great day...

Hi everybody, have a smashing Good Friday Very Happy

Seems I broke yesterdays promise. Today I was caught in a cleaning frenzy. Started with watching the sun rise, coffee, laundry, breakfast, grocery run and an extremely long coffee break Laughing Then ironing, lunch, catnap etc. I've kept my self quite busy today until a mango daiquiri hugged me. Wink For tomorrow there only one batch of laundry left and shopping.
We had a brilliant sunny day with freezing temps almost till 8 o'clock, but after that the blossoms opened up showing their bright colours.

Ann-Marie, not exactly the busiest of times. Have a fun day with the little critters.
Debbie, sorry to hear you are being in such pain. Your weather looks like ours these days, freezing temps at night and almost shorts and T-shirt temps during the day. Really funny to see the people passing by at noon dragging their thick coats, caps and gloves they needed in the early morning, but became far too warm by noon.
Made my self a quick spaghetti with tuna, capers and olives for dinner tonight,

but yours sounds much more appealing to me.
Nubbins, I'm so happy for you that Vernon is doing so much better by using a patch. That'll take away some of the stress from you as well. Be careful today and stay safe.
I still have to make my nest with today's washed, dried and ironed sheets. Probably a good recipe for sleeping in a bit tomorrow morning. See ya tomorrow.

GOOD EVENING GIRLS.......It's been a long day. I went back to bed around shoot I can't remember now, I think around 5 and slept til 9:30, only to wake up to the phone ringing and it was Tiffany. Jim and I got up and did a few things around the house and he went to a deli and got us a sub for lunch and by then Tiffany and the kids got here with their lunch and we talked for awhile. Jim ask Tiffany if Cody could go to a motorcycle shop with him, so they left with Cody in the Side-Car, then Tiffany went to the store for her and me, then I started dinner and Cody and Jim made it back so Cody mowed....Jim got called out to work just about the time dinner was almost ready.....He'll be gone til late. Tiffany cleaned up the kitchen and preceded to clean with the help of the kids and they all just left, so it's finally quiet here! Just me time, although I'd love to have my Sweetheart here, I hate it when he has to go so far away and drive back when it's dark...his nit vision is not very good.

Sounds like everyone had a busy day too. I think I'm going to go fix my self a glass of Ice Tea and watch some TV, maybe take a Cat Nap in the recliner. I'll be sure to check on you all tomorrow! Have a good evening. HUGS!
