GOOD MORNING GIRLS.......It's the Last day of April, can you believe it? This year is flying by. I think today is supposed to be pretty, nice and sunny with temps. in the 70's! But Rain and alot of it the rest of the week.

It's 5 in the morning and I got up to tinkle and take a couple Advil, figured I'd just stay up. By Bi-Pap mask is breaking out my face and making my face so dry that it's making wrinkles set in faster than need be. That's another reason I'm staying up, I couldn't take that thing one more minute. Jim said we needed to go get a new one.

Not too much on the list of "Things To Do".....if my leg lets me and it doesn't hurt real bad, I should look around and gather up some stuff for Jim's Mom's Garage sale she's having this Friday and Saturday. I didn't make that "Twinkie Cake yesterday, so I'll do it today too. The Grandkids are coming over while Tiffany goes to the gym, so I know they'll help eat it. Having Hot Dogs and French Fries for dinner, something simple and I know the kids like it.

Our week-end was pretty much non existent. Jim was sick all day Saturday. Yesterday we both slept in and the phone rang and it was a call-out for Jim to go to work. Jim told the guy he was sick had he called others and he said yes; I bet he didn't. Anyway long story short, he left about noon and got home about 6...it was a 2 hour drive away Rolling Eyes

I didn't even make it back here to the computer. My Knee hurt so bad I planted myself in the living room and watched "In the Kitchen with David" on QVC for 4 hrs. and cat napped with Andy. Didn't even move to fix myself a sandwich.

So how did everyone's week-end go? Hopefully you all did some fun stuff. I know Vicki had that Big Graduation Party....I'm sure it went well and everyone had a good time. Anyway, hop on here and let's chat and let us know how things are. HUGS! Very Happy

Hey Monkeybiz:

Top o the mornin' to ya.....

You were starting Mondays post & I was over on the weekend post - practically writing a book. Sorry your knee is hurting so much. I had heard those c-pap masks could make your face sore & dry, they must be miserable to wear.

Sending a big HELLO to everyone who comes on today.

Y'all take care...

Hello Pat, When you were talking about your dog chewing on the tree, it reminder me of the Cocker Spaniel we had, he loved to run and jump at the branches of a Dogwood tree we had.

I had to laugh when you said you'd like to have one of those carpets that Lowe's advertises.....I thought the same exact thing...wishing it was that easy. It's either that or to be rich enough to hire a dedicated gardener. Your friends place where the Party was help and you were speaking about her yard and how beautiful it was and how good it smelled. I guess that's how you do it, a little at at time and over several years, it might look like what you envisioned.

Sounds like you all had a wonderful time and you needed that! Take care. HUGS!

Hi Nubbins, Debbie and everybody else, have a brilliant day Very Happy

Debbie, it's the last day of April and that's Queen's Day in the Netherlands. No office for me today Very Happy I was bright and early this morning and so was the weather. Cleaned the backyard windows before going out observing the festivities Smile. It was crowded with people wearing orange clothing or ornaments,

and selling stuff. Kind of similar to what you folks do at garage sales Laughing

Stumbled upon a batch of Buddhas taking a sun bath,

and noticed some micro scale law enforcement. Laughing

Hope you enjoy watching "garage sale" Dutch style Laughing . Sorry to hear you and Jim being not well all weekend, maybe the grandkids make up for it tonight.
Nubbins, you sure had a fun party last night. Must have been great going somewhere again after such a long time.
Yesterday I had planned finishing my "challenge" and getting on line in time, but somehow it got drowned in wine. Went to see the new house of my former neighbour and her newly wed hubby. They bought a similar house as mine and moved in last Tuesday. They are still not organized yet and I was a bit flattered being the one of the first people to see it and invited for dinner [with wine Wink ]
Gotta go for now and get the laundry in. TTYL

Hi Everybody!
Well, my brother's gone. It was so nice seeing him. He lives in Colorado and only gets here once a year. My other brother and his wife came Sunday (just for the day) and my daughter and her fiancee and (my) Jim were here for dinner on Sunday. I made a big batch of stuffed rigatoni for dinner. And a chocolate cake for my mother's 95th birthday!! So it was my whole family under one roof!

Glad to hear everyone here is still doing well. I'll be glad to get back to my old (lazy) schedule.
