GOOD MORNING GIRLS…….Not a real good nite for me, very restless, as my leg kept me awake most of the nite. It’s feeling about like it did when Jim requested to the doctor that I be put in the hospital to take some of this fluid off . After my last bout in the hospital and them letting me die once, I’m very afraid to ever go back. Anyway I have done very little walking and tried to set either in the recliner with my legs up or laid down with “Mr. Wedge” for awhile. That’s the reason I haven’t been on the computer. Missed chatting with everyone. Like Ann mentioned our post a getting very few and far between. We are struggling to stay together, aren’t we?

Our weather here has been very rainy. All the rain brought out my Rhododendron and it was beautiful, then within a week it all the flowers died off and now it’s in the ugly stage. I think the rest of the week the rain is gone and some sun , but cooler temps are in store for us.

Speaking of Prayers, I would appreciate it if you al could add Jim’s Dad to your Prayer list. He’s been in the hospital for several days now . For a few months he’s been going to the doctor for this infection he has in his big toe. A few weeks ago the doctor wanted to treat it with this anti-biotic that cost 2,000 and of course the insurance would not pay for it unless it was given while in the hospital intravenously.Well he hates hospitals so he didn’t go….then it came to the point that he had to go…the infection was MRSA and after blood tests found out that it had got down in the bone so the called in an orthopedic doctor…right now we are still waiting for his word. Jim’s Mom will not leave his side and has been staying there with him, only leaving long enough to go home and get a shower and then only if Jim stays with him while she’s gone.

Tiffany is coming today to run the vacuum, so she’ll be here for about an hour. She’s planning a Mother’s Day cook-out on Saturday , which I told her would work out good for us, as I know Jim’s Parents won’t be able to come to it, so we can go visit them on Sunday. I gave her 30 dollars to get a Pork Butt, Mat wants to put one in the Smoker. I’ll take a few sides, but ones I can get from the Deli or that Jim can throw together as I doubt I’ll be able to be in the kitchen. Tiffany is also looking on-line for Flower Girl dresses….Avayah is in 2 weddings this summer. She has to pay for it herself and she can’t use the same dress for Both weddings as the Bride has different ideas on what they want it to look like. Tiffany would like to find one that she can wear more that just the wedding.

I started back reading my book….Shades of Grey. My interest got peeked again as it’s been in the news a lot lately and the other day there was a news slot that said the Library had to take it off the shelf because of the content…I guess because it is so steamy! So back to reading, ready to get to the steamy part of the book…LOL!

Supposed to make Lasagna tonite…..hope my legs hold out. I think I’ll take my shower right after Jim leaves for work, by the time I get done, Tiffany will be here and when she leaves, I’ll make my sauce. Speaking of cooking I finally made that dessert Monday. I’ll HAVE to post the recipe…you all will love it.

**PATTI, Said a prayer for your Sister as soon as I read your post this morning. Sounds like things are looking better for her. Wonder why they didn’t remove the Gall-Bladder endoscopially (sp?)? Sure would have been a lot easier on her and faster recovery too. Anyway, she still has a way to go, so I’ll continue to say a Prayer for her for a her to continue to stay strong and a speedy recovery.

**ANN, How nice that Jim helped you Spring Clean the kitchen. I think that’s the worst room to clean. Glad you had a nice visit with your Mom.

**FAN, I feel so bad that you were the only one that posted the other day. Today is the day you have to go up Northwest to that Beautiful area…Poor you, hope your day is enjoyable anyway….LOL!

**MARTHA,Hope your Rose of Sharons do well….do you know what color they will be?

**PAT, How did you scuff up your knee so bad? I’m sure it’ll hurt for a few days. Maybe it’s the only way to get you to take it easy for awhile.

Well, Andy Cat is setting here pawling at me and meowing, his way of telling me it’s Breakfast time. So I guess I need to get to the front part of the house feed him and take my meds. Watch the Today Show until Jim leaves for work and then a shower. Hope everyone has a sunny and wonderful day. I love having you ALL as Friends. HUGS!

Good Morning Debbie and all who come in later. Sorry I haven't been on here much lately.
We have been working on a benefit for a girl that had a kidney transplant last year and has a lot of bills and expensive meds to buy every month. Darryl Worley http://youtu.be/ltWDMdadq98
came out to preform for it. It was a really good event.
https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.388287904543277.83928.100000862135564&type=1&l=a9985dd739

We raised $1400 after we deducted our expenses for it.
Jeanna carved a cake for the auction, it was a cowboy laying against a horse with a guitar beside him. It only went for $35 but Darryl's people was the ones bidding on it and I think the rest of the people knew it and wanted him to get it. He loved it.
Jessica has to have surgery on the 30th of the month. She has a nodule on her thyroid and had a biopsy last week but luckily it was benign, but they are still going to remove half of her thyroid. She will have to be on meds the rest of her life.
Jeanna has been staying at her mil's on the farm. her and Ira have been doing some body work on cars for some of their friends.
I have been having dizzy spells lately for some reason. The last week I woke up throwing up and then started getting dizzy every time I get up. Sometimes when I lay down the room starts spinning. I am supposed to be getting a call to have an appt from a nearby dr soon.
Jim has had a few episodes of shortness of breath, but after he takes a whiff of his inhaler he is better.
Krys and her boys came over on sunday and stayed until yesterday, to help with the benefit. They were a lot of help. They helped with the cooking for it. We had potato salad, pasta salad, coleslaw, baked beans, BBQ pork and chicken, and 4 different cobblers, and of course cupcakes.
We didn't have any of it left except a few cupcakes and 1 can of baked beans.
The weather was fantastic for it too.
Debbie, I am sorry to hear that your leg is still bothering you.
Your fil s in my thoughts and prayers.
Pattit- Hope your sis is doing okay.Krys had her gall bladder out in jan. She is doing pretty good now, still has to watch what she eats.
Fan-sorry you were the only one posting the other day.
I have been at the campground with our benefit and didn't even have phone signal there.LOL
hello to Ann, Martha,Carolyn, Pat, and everyone else who stops in. I hope you all have a good day.

Hi Grammadot, Debbie and everybody else, have a great day Very Happy

I finally made it back from the northeast. Pfew, what a day. It all started with making a detour on the tracks due to an accident. And it was raining cats and dogs all the time. Nevertheless I did have a bit of luck, cause each time I was walking from one place to another I had a short break from the rain, I was walking in between the rain drops Laughing . The meeting was fun and the seminar had some interesting topics. But hardly an opportunity to take some nice pics, apart from a few lucky shots like the one below.

Debbie, I already was missing you. I'll keep your folks in my prayers.
Grammadot, nice to see you posting. Be careful with those dizzy spells, do have it checked out. I'll keep my fingers crossed for Jessica's surgery.
Gotta hit the nest, I'm exhausted and have another early day tomorrow. See you all tomorrow.
