Good morning everybody, have a bright start of the week Very Happy

I'm still enjoying another day of sunny weather and not having to go to the office because of Pentecost. The temps are slightly cooler today and there's a nice breeze coming from the sea, which makes it a lot nicer to be outside. It's supposed to cool down considerably this week and I don't mind it a bit. Very Happy
I went out for a small refreshing walk this morning trying to chase some bugs. I caught my first ladybird,

and noticed the orange fever flaring up in my street.

In about two weeks this whole country will get totally crazy, because of the European soccer championships held in Poland and the Ukraine. Shocked And I'll be having fun catching the symptoms of this fever on camera Cool .
Still have to go for a quick grocery run, so TTYL.

GOOD MORNING FAN AND OTHERS......Just got up, almost 7:30. I was up at 5 and thought No, I'll try to get a few more hours. It's a nice quite morning , no kids going to school and most everyone is off today for Memorial Day. I might go set on the Patio for a bit and listen to the birds sing. Jim is off today and I know he didn't come to bed til about 2, so I'll let him sleep in for a little while. Later he has to work on the pluming of the bathroom sink, it has always had a slow drain and now Jim think it might need some pipes replaced. Other than that I'm not sure what we'll do today since Jim is On-Call, that limits the things you can do. I think we might grill out a few burgers today,as Jim has been wanting to grill out, but still needs to get the cob-webs out of the grill....LOL. If my legs will allow, I might fix a small bowl of Macaroni salad and some Bake Beans and cut up 1/2 the huge watermelon .
Our weather today is supposed to be beautiful today as we be the rest of the week and temps falling back down into the comfortable 80's. Yesterday it was so darn Hot in the 90's....I could barely breath!

Speaking of yesterday, we watched a little bit of the Indy 500 race, then went for a quick Cheeseburger at our favorite diner, then over to Jim's parents. Oh Lordy, Jim's Dad is getting worse everyday. Please keep him and Jim's Mom in your prayers. She's in her 80's, but doing good for her age, but I can see the toll having Him getting worse and her trying to take care of him. She finally took his car keys away from him, He is in no condition to be driving and hasn't been for a few years! We stayed with him while Jim's sister took her to the grocery store and I did notice the longer we were there the more alert he became. We were there for about 4 hrs. and then left and stopped and got dinner. Stopped at Cheddars and we both got Ribs...very good. I can't say much about our server....we could not understand her and at first I thought it was just me, but Jim said the same thing. Then she never refilled our drinks....that's a big No No in my book. Jim went 1/2 way through his meal with an empty glass. Finally home at 9:30, Jim feed the Fur-Babies, let Kujo in the house for a bit and I went to bed about 11:30...feel right to sleep. Busy week-end for me and the heat takes something from me too, as I use to staying in the AC.

**FAN, Sounds like you got alot accomplished early before it got hot. Your weather sounds like ours and I'm sure you're looking forward to the cooler weather. Loved the pic. of the Ladybug! Enjoy the rest of your day.

I think I'll go get my morning meds and feed Andy. He's back to snubbing his nose to Canned cat food and wants Tuna fish again. He gets tired of the same ole thing everyday. Hope you ALL have gorgeous d
ay HUGS!

Good morning Fan and Debbie.
We had a pretty good weekend. Sat we went to a music festival on main street in our little town. we set up a booth with cupcakes, cookies and brownies. Sold a little bit, not as much as I would have liked to, but it was fun. Listened to some good live music. We will have this through the whole summer, every weekend. They alternate between two towns in this county. This week was here next weekend is about 10 miles from here. We are thinking about trying it again. If it doesn't turn out to be too much work and not enough money. I had a lot of people that had been to our bakery there. Here are some of the pics from it.

Krys and her family went camping close to here this weekend, and stopped over here on their way home and spent a big part of the day with us. Jeanna and her dh came over too, If Jessica had been here we would have a better day, but she is too far away to come very often. She is having her thyroid surgery on tuesday. We made a cake yesterday for Krys to take back with her, She is going a concert tonight, Stephen Cochran. He is a doing a special Memorial Day concert for the Veterans.

here is the cake we did for it.

Today we are just staying home and relaxing.
Hope you all have a good day.
Here is Krys at one of her events with Trace Atkins and Darryl Worley

Wow, Grammadot. Are these blokes that tall or is Krys that short? They look like giants.
Debbie, I'll keep Jim's parent in my prayers.

they are that tall. Krys is around 5'5" I think. I have a picture of me beside Darryl and I am even shorter than her. I posted on her facebook pic that they were the true PILLARS of country music!!!

Pretty impressive. I'm 5'8" and I bet they'd make me disappear in the pic too Laughing They could be a match for a couple of my cousins, they are over 6'5"
