Morning everybody,

Pat/nubs - are you getting any of Tropical Storm Debby???

Babette - new stuff?! Glad you didn't give up this site since so many people go to Facebook anymore. Sad Sad

Fan - loved the pics from yesterday. Can't get over how sharp they are, you have a great camera.

Had a ton of fun with my friend and her daughter. Took them to Conneaut Beach in OH, swam for a few hours, ate lunch then swam another hour or so. Told my friend, "your daughter will be sleeping on the way home." Wink So glad they came up since we don't get to see each other very often.

Had several big storms roll through last night...big thunder. Wish it had rained all night, a soft gentle rain...everyone's lawn and flowers are starting to droop. Sad

Not much new. Might run to Walmart and see if they have a filter for our shop-vac.

It's really cooled off since the rain last night...feels good. Smile

Take care,
Ann

Good morning Ann-Marie and everybody else, Have a brilliant start of the week Very Happy

Ann-Marie, glad you had such a wonderful time with your friend and her daughter. Are you still having vacation?
Kind of hectic today again in the office, but it sure makes time fly. The weather is improving, less rain but still chilly. I like it like this.
Gotta go back to my schedules and files. TTYL

I know, can't believe it's almost a year since my accident and here I am taking pics and trotting around almost as I used to do before Very Happy
Noticed Debbie been missing. Does anyone happen to know how she's doing?

Took a pic of "Dutch parking" on the way to the supermarket after work...

and ended up in the "supermarket rush hour" Laughing .

Once at home I stumbled upon a luxury problem; was I gonna have yesterdays leftover pasta loaf for dinner..

or cooking spaghetti with broccoli sauce?

Which one do you think I chose?

Hey Y'all:

Ann-AHHHH YUP Very Happy We are getting the out bands, just checked the weather service & the tornado warnings end just before Suwannee county. That doesn't mean we're safe, you never know when one will pop up. It has been raining for 2 days right thru the night. Storm has appeared to stall in place. That's OK tho we need it.

A while back someone expressed a desire to own a portable singer sewing machine I forget what it is called-old & small. Saw one on E-Bay for 22.00. If anyone can remember who that was could you let them know? Thanks Smile

Fan-since you posted picture of the "fresh" meal I am guessing that's the one you ate & the leftover is still a leftover.

Y'all take care...

Hello girls, trying to get a post in before hubby gets home. Have to get dinner for us then.

Weekend was kind of mixed up, Madison called and said she wanted to spend the night on Sat. Later in the afternoon she called back and said sorry she changed her mind, she was going to go to a party with her Mom and Dad because there was a pool there. I was so disappointed but I knew a pool would always win out. Then I get a call 3 hours later, she is at the party and wants to come have a bon fire with us. Of course we told her okay. We had the bon fire going and were all set to toast marshmallows with her. She enjoyed watching the lightening bugs and hearing all the horses and cows from the rodeo. She left out a hoot and a holler now and then. I told her it was like being on a ranch, being surrounded by the horses and cows and a few dogs. We left her stay up until 11 (shhhhh don't tell) The next day she slept in until 10, I am so glad that she sleeps so well at our house.

Sunday I made dinner and mommy, daddy and uncle James came. Her and I did some projects and she and Pop washed our vehicles and then mom and dad's car. Of course she had her bating suit on and took every opportunity to get wet.
I was so impressed when she told me that "The landscaping at Miss Pat's and Mr. Bob's was just beautiful." I guess I am rubbing off on her to notice things like that.

Today, catching up on laundry, baking a pan of brownies with cookie dough on top and a little cleaning here and there.

**Fan, that looks like a great day, enjoying the bands going by in the boats, while sipping on a pint. Glad you were able to get the strawberries you wanted. I am sure you will whip something good up with that.

**Nubbins, I hope you don't get too much rain. I always worry about you when I see bad weather headed for Florida. I don't remember anyone asking about the sewing machine.

**Ann, sounds like you and your friend had a great day together. With all the work you do you certainly deserve some carefree days. It seemed to have rained here overnight but no big storms. Probably just enough rain to wash off all the deer repellent I sprayed on my garden last evening!

**Vicki, I have only used arugula in salads. I wish the heat would have stayed away a little while longer, I think it has put an end to our lettuce in the garden. We got a lot of good salads our of it and even had enough to give a lot away.

**Carolyn, please be careful. That sounded like a terrible spill you took. Try and relax while you have the chance.

Gotta go get dinner on the table. By for now.

Hi Everybody!
Really got chilly today. It's only 65° now! Quite a difference from the 90's!

Ann - That kitty video was so cute! I gave up trying to walk my big kitty on a leash... all he did was fight to get out of the leash and wouldn't go anywhere!

Fan - I don't know how you resisted those leftovers... but the pasta with broccoli sauce looks interesting too. Those cars park awfully close to the canal - do they ever fall in?

Pattit - Sounds like you had fun with Madison.

Nubbins - Glad you didn't get hit with anything too severe. We could all use a little more rain, I think. (You don't hear me say that very often!) For some reason, it seems like it was Karen looking for a little sewing machine. Hopefully, she'll see your post about it - that's a good deal.
