Good morning everybody, have a great day Very Happy

I'm about to be released from my office duties for today and ride home on my "orange Horse" Very Happy . Gonna inspect the painters work for today. He's almost done, only the front door still needs to be finished. He couldn't paint it today because of the rain. So he's gonna try next Thursday at noon.
Had a very hectic day today, holiday season has arrived and everybody is trying to clear their desks by trying to "delegate" chores and things they should have taken care off centuries ago to people from other departments. And the archive is a nice place to dump it I suppose.
Our motley crew got very wet this morning as well. I also noticed them growing small tail feathers already. Still tiny and a bit fluffly, but evidently tail feathers. Very Happy
My release is approaching, so TTYL.

Hello everybody,

Have Willow laying on the desk and her front legs are draped over the keyboard...silly kitty. Smile

Going to be a beautiful day. Meeting a friend at Presque Isle around noon. Use to work as housekeepers and can't wait to get together. Smile

Hope everyone has a wonderful day!
Ann

GOOD MORNING GIRLS..... Shower has been taken, Meds taken and I just got finished straightening up this back room where the computer is. I'm debating on Breakfast or not, I might make me a piece of toast when I finish here as my tummy thinks it's hungry. Kujo is so sound asleep that he didn't even hear me call for him to com in the main part of the house, so I figured I'd try later. Need to take care of the one task I hate and that is paying bills. I guess I really don't hate it, as it makes my feel better when they are all paid, but it's just the "Getting Started"!

Sorry I didn't make it on yesterday, I don't think I made it back to the computer until 10 last nite. Yesterday afternoon my Elderly neighbor called and ask if she could come over to visit. Of course I said. She's a window of 5 yrs. and 83, but seems to act like she about 60! Gets around better than me. And some of the stories she tells keeps us laughing her whole visit. It's good for her and for me too.

Jim is OK! His head hurts and I'm very surprised he didn't wake up with a black eye. His are still hurts, but not broke, it however IS bruised. Jim said he left a BIG GREASY SPOT on the window where his head hit....I had to laugh! It surprised me though as he showers every morning and doesn't use anything on his hair or face!

Today is Tiffany's LAST day to have fun. Tomorrow they'll be packing and cleaning the house and then heading home. She'll be very sad as she has had lots of fun there. She has ALWAYS wanted to live at a beach. I think if we would move to a beach with them she'd move in a second!

No cooking for me tonite, Jim and I have a few things to get at JCPennys, so we'll go there and probably do Mexican or Cheddars. With No AC yet, I try to fix quick meals or Crockpot meals, so I don't have to turn on the oven.

**FAN, Your probably off by now.....so what are you gonna do with the rest of your day? To bad that your Co-Workers seem to dump their work in your office. I think I'd LOCK by door. The "Motley Crew" sure are getting cute. Wonder if they will hang around the roof after they are able to fly?

**ANN, I know exactly how you feel when you work so many hours. When you get home, you just want to collapse on the couch. Nice that you've made plans to meet a friend you use to work with. I can visualize Willow laying there on your desk like that. Andy use to do that too.

Well, I guess I had better go and get busy on the bills and make me some toast. I'll check to see if Kujo wants in....he likes to help me eat my toast. Hello to everyone coming in today...hope you all have a great day! HUGS!

Debbie - vacations go sooooo fast!! Poor Kujo, the heat/humidity is making him tired too. Sad

Was getting ready to leave when I looked down and Leo was sleeping in my hat.

Waiting for my friend, so took a small walk, ran into some ducks sitting on land, they decided to go into the water and feed a little bit:

Wow Ann-Marie, lovely pics Smile Have fun today with your friends.
Debbie, glad to hear Jim is okay. Hopefully that soreness disappears quickly. Nice to have a good neighbour around, I find most of mine real good company too.
After leaving the office, I usually spend some time sitting outside until my stomach tells me to start cooking Laughing Cooked a lot of spaghetti today with green beans and bacon. Put half in a dish for having an oven bake tomorrow. Our temps have dropped considerably, so it's safe to use the oven again Laughing . Then I have the dishes, Myo's litterbox, the newspaper, a bit of TV news and the computer.

Hello girls. Madison's swim meet ran real late tonight!! Thought I would jump on here before bed. I wanted to see if there was any news on Jim. Glad to hear that he is bruised but okay.

Hubby and I had Dr.s appt.s today. Lots of blood tests etc. for me. Hubby will go back in 6 weeks to have his done. I asked about getting the shingles shot. The Dr. wrote me a script for it and the pharmacist said that both of my insurances usually pay for them. Wouldn't you know they both said that they wouldn't pay until I was 60. Even though the new recommendation is for anyone over 50. She said if I called and kicked up a fuss they might override the decision. I asked how much it would cost without insurance and she said it would be over 200 dollars. I think I will see if I can get insurance to cover it.

I got my peach wine underway. It will be the first time I attempted wine. I hope it turns out good. If it turns out, I may try some blueberry wine.

Madison won all of her events tonight. We took her home afterwards and she showed us how nice their pool at home looks. It looks like a brand new pool, of course for what it costs it should! Darryl must have jumped in after work, hubby put on his (Darryl's) swim suit and jumped in. After hours in the heat of the natatorium it must have felt very refreshing.

**Fan, sorry to hear that everyone is dumping work on your department. To bad you can't pass it on to someone else, ha ha. Do the motley crew seem like pets to you yet? I think I would be sad to see them go.
**Ann, it seems like today would have been a perfect day to go to Presque Isle, especially with a friend. I am sure you had a nice visit. Perhaps Willow had a message she wanted delivered to us? I loved your pictures of the ducks. Looks like they let you get pretty close.
**Debbie, seems like they had bad weather down there yesterday for Tiffany. I hope they had more good weather than bad. I love being at the ocean too. I just would be afraid to live there because of the hurricanes. Did you end up going to Cheddars or have Mexican? We made a quick sandwich before we left for Madison's swim meet. Not very exciting. I sure hope that you will be able to get your air fixed soon.

I am pretty tired so I think I will talk to you all tomorrow. Good night girls, although you are probably all asleep by now.
