Morning everybody,

Was a busy night at work last night. The morning tech was busy so what she couldn't get done fell to me...had lots of catching up to do.

What a ~
hot~ day yesterday, just so muggy/humid. They said a little cool off today...they were right, it was very little cool off. It's still in the high 70's this morning. But like Mom said would rather have this then having to clean the car off and shoveling snow. Smile I agree!!

You won't believe this. Mad Jim and I got in the car to come home last night, it wouldn't hardly turn over. Evil or Very Mad Sat there a good 6 or 7 minutes trying to get it to start, finally Jim just kept cranking on the key and it finally caught. Have a feeling the starter is starting to go bad. Sad Evil or Very Mad This is not a good time for my car to be having problems. Sad

Hope everyone has a good day, stay cool...

Ann

Good morning Ann-Marie and everybody else, keep cool today Very Happy

Which isn't too difficult for me, it's still quite chilly. According to the forecasts it will stay like this till Saturday. I may have call of the painter tomorrow because of the rain.
Saw a beautiful scene this morning in front of my office building. A seagull with some food from the trash in his beak was standing at the front door as if he were to ask directions to the student's restaurant Laughing Laughing

Ann-Marie, hopefully the starter doesn't get a heat stroke and give up on you. Have a fun day at work.

Good Morning Ann, Fan and Others….It’s going to be a HOT and RAINY day here, BUT we so need the rain. It’s supposed to be like this for the next 2 days, but then a cool down into the mid 80’s. I haven’t felt too good the past few days, I stopped in here yesterday, but feel asleep while reading the post….not that they were boring, but I just couldn’t keep my eyes open. I’ve been like that for the past couple weeks. Not sure WHY, as I wear my Bi-Pap through the nite and sleep fairly well, it could be some of my Meds. I’ll bring this up to my doctor my next appt.

Tiffany and the kids came over Monday, Tiffany to clean and Cody to mowed. The kids were so excited to tell me all about their Vacation that I had to tell them one at a time. Before they left for Vacation, we went to the Mall for lunch and let them play and I told them that BEFORE School starts Mommy and I would bring them here to see a movie, go shopping (They have already pick out their tennis shoes) and out to Cheddars for lunch (that’s where they want to go eat)…well you know how kids NEVER forget anything and that was one of the first things they said to me….is today the day we go to the movie and go shopping?

Jim is working out of town all week. Next week they want him to work over by Washington DC and that area….which means he’d have to stay the week. Jim’s already told his Boss he couldn’t do it, that he needed to be here to take care of me. I think my little episode in December shared the Life out of him! So pray that something else works out for him.

I made a small pot of Spaghetti last nite, tried to talk myself out of it, but this eating out gets soooo expensive sometimes. Tonite we’re having Steak Sanwiches with melted Provolone Cheese. I figured I’d get them together, then put them in the oven when Jim gets home.

I’m supposed to watch the 2 kids Tiffany babysets for, as her kids have Dentist appts. At 1 this afternoon. One I know pretty well, the other I hardly know.

**ANN, So how did Jim’s Interview go? He’s really lucky to even get an interview these days. I wish him well. How was your Mom and Benji? Did they have any Power outage from that storm a few weeks ago? How awesome to see a Bald Eagle on your walk through Elk Creek. I hate car trouble. Sure hope it's an quick and cheap fix. Tiffany's Hubby's car is always breaking down....they never have Xtra money to worry about fixing it either.

**FAN, Yea, I can see a wee little bit of a tail on your Office Birds. It won’t be long they will be flying off and like you said become a nucense to the community by getting into the trash….what a mess they make. Quick Gull this morning....looks like he's standing there waiting for someone to answer the door.

**MARTHA, Glad you made it to the Market…was it the Farmers Market? We have one of those, but I never seem to get there. I seem to find a lot of Fresh Veggies and Fruit at Kroger…sure Do Not buy any at Wal-Mart.

**PATTI, Oh what a mess they Utility Co. are going make of your lawn and such. It must be down though….I would say finding the leak from the gas line now is a miracle…It could have exploded you know. That’s pretty darn scarey. I think when they start digging, I’d go visit someone for the day So wonder why your Pain is getting worse. Sometimes I know when I’m really stressed, My lower body (that’s where all my Pain is) seems to lock up and hurt a lot more. Your Memory might be caused by going through the change or your Meds. Don’t be too hard on yourself about going to the doctor when you didn’t even have an appt. I’m sure others have done that also. How wonderful that Gary was sweet enough to take you out to your Fav. Restaurant for Breakfast. He sure is a Keeper!

Well, I guess I’m going to get off here and eat me a bowl of cereal. This room back here, that started out to be a TV room/office is getting to be a room where things that don’t have a place to be get put…by me only. So the clutter is all my fault. Today I’m going to try to go through all this and find a permanent place for it. Hope EVERYONE has a great day. Watch out for the rain drops! HUGS!

Hi Everybody!
Yesterday the temp got up to 101°!! It NEVER gets that hot around here. It set a new record!! Late last night we finally got a thunder storm.... but it didn't last long enough or cool things off much either! The rain just soaked in like drops of water on a sponge.... we really needed a good soaking, but now there's no rain predicted for at least the next 5-6 days. Today it was in the 80's.... that's a lot easier to take.

Fan - Poor bird wants to come in! Don't they have a door bell? Cute picture.

Ann - Oh no, car trouble. I hope it's nothing big. How old is your car? Mine is a 2003, so I'm on borrowed time here. It's only a matter of time before things start going. I look at all the sales they are having and wonder if I should trade mine in. But I'm really hoping I can get another year or two out of it.

Debbie - That must be so hard for Jim to be away for so long. He must worry about you. When are you taking the kids out for movie/shopping? Isn't it awful to think they will be back in school before we know it? Why doesn't time fly by this fast in the winter time? I don't get up early enough to go to the farm market ( Rolling Eyes ) I was talking about Wegmans... I love that place!

I got a roll of wire fence from Home Depot and put it around my Rose of Sharon bushes. Something keeps eating the leaves. I think it's either the rabbits or the deer. I have these little seedlings that I'm trying to grow and they're about 3 feet tall. The neighbors all tell me that deer don't bother Rose of Sharon once it gets 5-6 ft tall...so in the mean time, I'll have to fence them in.

Hi to everybody else out there.............
