Good morning everybody, have a brilliant start of the week Very Happy

Boiling over in the office today. Temps are still high, but are likely to go down in the course of the week. I just keep my fingers crossed for the upcoming weekend. But that's no excuse for not enjoying the flower of the day.

Busy day today, I'm taking off on Friday, so I need to make sure my schedule will be empty by then. TTYL.

Hey Y'all:

Sunny & comfortable here today in Dogpatch, FLA.

Another plumbing project finished. The drain under the kitchen sink was clogged....somewhere. Used Drano (5 times)-didn't help sooo...
I opened up the plumbing under the sink....they were clear & clean. That left only 1 place...under the house. Removed a section of the porch floor & cut the long pipe that runs to the main drain. Ran a garden hose down it until I reached the blockage. Used the hose-on full blast- as a ram & finally broke thru. All I needed were 2 connectors to put everything back together, got those at Lowe's for .50 cents a piece. Cheap fix. Wonder what a plumber would have charged me for that job? Shocked

Also gave my GS a lesson in plumbing, showed him how it works & how to clean & glue joints. The next project & class will be on installing the bathroom vanity & shut off valves for the water lines. I'll turn him into a Mr. Fixit if it kills me. If you own a home you should know how to fix little things yourself......especially if you can't afford to pay someone to do it for you.

Patti was it your sons dog that went down on a run with your son? How is the dog doing? Fine I hope.

Gotta run, need to cut the grass.

Y'all take care...

That is indeed a pretty sunset, Ann-Marie.
Nubbin, I think Mr Fixit to be and you should start a plumbing company. Wink You are awesome. Have fun cutting the grass.

Pat/nubs - you need to come to PA and give Jim a few lessons. Wink

Fan - thank you! Smile

Have been busy all day. Had to go to the shoe store to see if I could buy new insoles, really needed new ones. Then came home and cleaned the car out then Jim & I trimmed the Rose of Sharon bushes. Hard to believe how tall they got.

Here's a news story for you.

I have tried for hours to get on here, naturally as soon as I contacted Babbette I magically was able to get on. I feel bad for telling her there was a problem now. Late and I have to get to bed. Talk to you all tomorrow. Nubbins, yes my sons dog went down on a run, he had blood tests done over the weekend, I will ask sin tomorrow if he got the results when he picked up the dog today. If he didn't ask, well, I may have to slap him.
