Morning,
Pat/nubs - sad about your DH. Almost sounds like my Mom's neighbor...they ended up putting him in the hospital for a while, but have a feeling he'll end up in a home too.
Didn't do anything on Saturday, yesterday we went into town to buy a new kitchen faucet. Made lunch then we went over to the park for a little bit, just to get outside. After we came back told Jim "that was refreshing." I work in the building all day, was nice to get out for a change.
Hope everyone is doing well.
Take care,
Ann _________________ http://bakespace.com/?ann_marie_pa

Good morning Ann-Marie and everybody else, have a smashing day
Ann-Marie, I know how it feels, being cooked up in a building for work. . And viewing into the office garden is nice, but that doesn't make up for it. Have fun today.
Nubbins, sorry to hear your DH isn't responding so well to his medications.
We are having wonderful quiet autumn weather today. Sunny and warm, no wind, no clouds and probably a very cold night . My office day has finished for the day and I'm going to enjoy my walk home. TTYL _________________ Fanmajie

Fan - looks like you are having the same kind of weather day as here. Sunny and blue skies. Looks like a small breeze off the Lake. _________________ http://bakespace.com/?ann_marie_pa

Hey there Y'all:
Waaay back when we were still a full house here on BS, there was a discussion amongst a few of us about incidents not of this world. I told of meeting someone & upon touching his had to greet him we both kind of went somewhere else in both our minds. Upon breaking our touch we were back in this time.
Sadly, I received a call in the middle of the night from South Dakota that my "time travelling companion" passed. He had throat cancer & refused to be treated by doctors.
He chose to stay at home & use Native American treatment. It didn't ravage his body like Chemo would have & let him die with dignity.
Have been & will continue to think of him fondly, daily.
Moving on...I really like the new arrangement of furniture in the lr. There is a big improvement in the sound of the tv & has put a little more distance between my eyes & the screen.
Gonna run...
Y'all take care...

Good afternoon everyone. I to don't know where the days go. Never seems to be enough time in the day. I think part of it is that it takes me soooo much more time to do everything.
Madison brought her friend from diving over on Saturday. It was so funny the way she seemed fascinated with everything in our home. She couldn't believe that Madison had her own room at her house and one here. She has had to share her room with a sister all her life. She wanted to know the style of our kitchen table, too cute. One thing she really took an interest in was Gary's deer head. She asked if she could touch it, then she wanted to pet his face, Madison ended up getting her step stool so she could reach him. Then she turned to Gary and said, "You really shouldn't have killed him."
Hubby is grocery shopping on his way home after work today. I am going to cook up some hamburger, cabbage and carrots with some soy sauce. One of his favorite meals.
**Debbie it was nice to see you posting here, it has been getting really sparse with members lately. You really have been busy lately. I know you are loving all the time with grandkids. Is Tiffany getting settled in at the new house?
**Fan, hubby and I are planning a drive this week to see all the pretty leaves. Your trees are really looking pretty.
Sorry I can't imagine eating liver pate, although hubby loves chicken livers. He hates that a place at one of our farmers markets where he used to get chicken livers wrapped in bacon is no longer run by the amish and he can't get them there any more. I used to make him fried chicken livers but there is no place that has chicken livers anymore. I would definitely share a bowl of that mushroom soup with you though!
**Ann, sounds like your day on Saturday turned out to be very nice. Sitting in the park just enjoying the surroundings can be so peaceful.
**Vicki, you sound like you had a lot of time with you grandchildren also. They sure do bring a lot of smiles don't they? Do you get cuddling time with your newest addition also?
**Pat, I really envy you being able to rearrange your furniture, this is the first place I have ever lived where there is just no way to put the furniture in any other position than where they are. Sigh. So sorry to read of your friends passing. Did I miss something? Why is your leg bothering you? Hopefully it is something temporary.
Hubby is almost to the grocery store, I better get to the kitchen and start slicing away. See you all soon. _________________ Patti

Nubbins, sorry to hear your "time travelling companion" has passed away. He must have been quite a wonderful person considering his choices in leaving this world.
Ann-Marie, I'll keep this kind of weather. But the temps will be dropping after tomorrow Luckily no rains or clouds in the forecasts.
Tomorrow is still an office day, but on Wednesday I have a meeting and celebration of my professional society in Utrecht with dinner buffet _________________ Fanmajie
