Good Morning, Friends!
Wonderful news! My 2-year old granddaughter's visits to the surgeon have come to an end. The cystic mass on one of her kidneys is gone.
You wanted a picture of my "stylist" fixing my hair. Unfortunately, as my hair was being styled my husband was reading stories. Then, she moved on to style Grandpa's hair. While they were outside playing, I mixed a batch of spritz cookies. We were still making cookies when my daughter returned.
The deer here are getting far too used to people. As we were ready to leave my MIL's (last night), we saw two deer at the end of her driveway. They were behind us as we pulled out, and ahead of us as we left. Yikes!!
Ann - Do you have any snow left? Is your car behaving? And, do your teeth feel better?
Debbie - You were a babysitting grandma yesterday, too! Does Avayah still style your hair?
Fan - Enjoy your day today. Will it be full of meetings, a celebration, or a combination of both?
Pat - Sounds like you have your hands full... a temperamental car, and a temperamental sewing machine!!
Martha - I hope you feel better soon.
PattiT - How are Nick and Madison doing? I hope your gastroenterologist has a cancellation.
Have a great day!
~~Vicki

Vicki - cute about the "stylist." No snow, didn't last long. So far so good on the car. Teeth only hurt once in a great while from allergies/sinus. _________________ http://bakespace.com/?ann_marie_pa

Hi everybody, have a smashing day
Vicki, my day was fun, a combination of meetings and celebrations. And reconnecting with colleagues. I might put up some pics tomorrow. Afterwards I went out for dinner with a few colleagues from other universities and poly techs.
Ann-Marie, glad to hear the snow is gone.
Carolyn, hang in there. I'll keep you in my prayers.
Gotta try and find my nest for now, I'm about to fall to pieces and it's getting close to midnight already. Luckily I'm off tomorrow _________________ Fanmajie

Spent the day today doing laundry, baking cookies and helping husband get ready to go to NY hunting. Yesterday he talked me into going along while got the car's oil changed, going to Walmart, then out to lunch with our son James. I was exhausted til we got home. I hate that I get so tired so quickly.
Nick returned to work and said he is feeling fine. I will be glad to see him at Thanksgiving. Seems like I just have to see for myself that he is back to normal.
Madison's Dr. said she had inflamed muscles from running for an hour solid. A challenge from her gym teacher! They said it should feel a little better every day and if it doesn't then they will do X-rays.
Seems like I will have lots to be thankful for.
**Vicki, I was jumping up and down (in my mind at least) at the great news about your sweet granddaughter. That is fantastic news! The gastroenterologist said a cancellation will not help me because I have 3 or 4 procedures I need done, so I would have to have 4 cancellations in a row in order to take their spot.
**Ann, I am sure you are not looking forward to trying to get to work in snow. Glad that the snow didn't lay on the ground. So do you think the dentist was able to fix the problem with your teeth? Last time I had a tooth worked on it seemed to take forever for it to feel normal again.
**Carolyn, I can not begin to imagine how a child going through a divorce feels for a parent. I hope I never have to know. I am sure seeing a counselor is a great idea, you have had so much on your plate. I am sorry to hear that your shoulder is still so painful. I hope everyone pitches in to help with Thanksgiving and it turns out to be a great family celebration.
**Debbie, Madison used to give me hairdos also. She was a little rough with the brushes and combs sometimes. I hope Tiffany is able to let go of some of the stress she is under. It really can affect your health in bad ways. I agree with Jim, please do what you can to get yourself back on track. None of us want to see you like you were last year. Now, come on over here (((Debbie.))) Hugs are always nice.
Gotta go get ready for bed. See you all tomorrow. _________________ Patti
