Pattit, I haven't been around here for quite a while, but I happened to see your post about your son. Please don't be offended, but I always got the impression that he was gay when you spoke about him. It was just a feeling that I had. My brother Mark was gay and died of AIDS about 20 years ago. He told me he was gay, way before he told my mother. I think it was right around the time he was diagnosed. She said she always had that feeling too. My father never knew, he died several years before. Mark was the best, and I feel so bad for how he had to suffer and die so young.

My daughter Alyssa's best friend is gay and was planning to get married in April, but has since broken it off. Would have been the first gay wedding we were invited to. Mark and his partner had a commitment ceremony, before it was so common.

Tango, please know that we are all thinking and praying for you and the results will come back as benign.

**Karen, you were one of the people I thought would not agree with my sons way of life. When he first came out he kept saying, that it didn't matter if he was a good person or not, since he would be going to hell anyway. I told him to do some research, there just had to be a church that would accept him as he is. Things would have been so much worse for your brother, I am sorry for the loss of a good person. One who never got to feel acceptance from the majority of people. Thank you for sharing the story of your brother, I am sure it was hard for you to think about the shortness of his life. I am so glad that you stopped in, we miss you.
