Good day everybody, hope y'all are having a smashing day .

My vacation finally has started. I returned my lap top and finished two small things at the office, then went for a walk through town. The weather held up, no rain but cold. And people were skating behind the city hall.


I still need a couple of days of puttering around the house and finish all the almost forever postponed chores. Contacted my insurance broker already, tomorrow the repair man for the defect hot water supply will come over to do his part, which leaves me with only a broken letterbox. Don't know what to do about that one yet. Oh, not to mention about 20 something Christmas cards to finish. After all that it'll probably Friday or Saturday and time to get my Christmas tree down from the attic. So if everything goes well I may be settled for Christmas by Sunday

Hello everyone. Yep had the two tests done yesterday. This time it feels like somebody beat me up. When the nurse called I told her my belly is really sore. She sad that when they do this test the nurses push on your belly to get your intestines where they want them to be. Strange, I never got sore before. This was my 3rd time if not my 4th getting the colonoscopy and the 3rd endoscopy. Hope I will feel better tomorrow.
I have been wrapping presents every now and then, that way it wont seem so bad, at least that is what I keep telling myself. I got my shipment of candy I ordered and when I saw the box, I thought, THAT is 50 dollars worth of candy??!! Then when I opened it over half of it was plastic packing!! I saw that it said a dozen pieces came in each box and thought that it seemed like they would be nice gifts, ha. I am going to be embarrassed to give them as gifts.
**Tango, please know that we are all praying for you. I pray that the Dr.s and nurses will be guided by God's hand to bring you healing. You know I hope that any of us would be more than glad to talk with you if you need us. If you don't already have my number just let me know. I am glad that your Mom will be with you.
**Debbie, I guess Jim will be going through what I just went through. It is necessary even though it is not pleasant. I am working on my hubby to get his tests done. Pork chop and apple casserole sounds good!
**Fan, when you said about skating did you mean because it was icy out? Sounds like you have enough to keep you busy for a while. Be careful bringing that Christmas tree down from the attic.

Almost time for Survivor so I will close for now.
