Morning everyone,
Mom just came in from walking Benji, the first thing she says is "it's wintry out there!" Guess we got 6 or 7 inches...a wet snow too. Jim was out snow blowing and it clogged up.
Martha - sounds like you had a wonderful Christmas!!
Poor Benji...he just doesn't sound good. Coughing.  Mom said that after Christmas she will be taking him to a different vet.

Good Morning, Friends!
We met at a local pizza restaurant last night, but all other plans were cancelled due to the horrendous road conditions. On the way we were behind a pickup... the driver was trying to straighten his vehicle, which was moving horizontally down both lanes. The others arrived just before the highway was closed due to accidents. Some of my children and grandchildren plan on sledding this afternoon. A few local family members went back to work yesterday, and others start today.
Today, I am taking a break from family activities to catch up on thank you notes, laundry, etc... AND, I have the Christmas ham bone for some type for soup or casserole next week!! 
Ann - How nice that you and Jim were able to celebrate with your mom. I hope a different vet will be able to help Benji?

Vicki - get the hot chocolate ready for those sledders!  They showed on our local weather that we got 10.5 inches in our area.

Hi everybody,
I'm having Friday morning already. Wanted to get on last night, but couldn't get on.
Ann-Marie, neat pics of Benji and the kitties. Are you going to play in the snow?
Vicki, put the ham in the "snert"  .
I made a nacho pie last night. Tastewise OK, but the dough didn't brown up very nicely.
Don't think I'll be cooking anything today, looks like a severe cold has caught me. I got muscle aches, earaches, sore throat and so on.
