Hi everybody, have a smashing day 
I'm still fighting the cold and it is quite stubborn. Didn't make it here yesterday because of it. But it 'll eventually pass, I suppose. Myo is cross with me because when I lay down I toss and turn a lot. So when she finally has a nice spot to sleep one of my limbs appear out of thin air disturbing her sleep 
So I hope your day goes better than mine, have a cup of coffee for me cause right noe I hardly can tell the difference between coffee or tea

Well, after reading about how others are dealing with illness I feel lucky that I feel quite well right now. Poor Madison just can't seem to kick the cough part of being sick. She has stayed home from school for the last two days because her parents think she would be too disruptive to the classroom. I hope you all start to be on the mend soon. We had fun last evening, since we hadn't seen Madison since Christmas eve she "FaceTimed" us it is something we can do with our i-pads, it is kind of like calling but we can see each other. I had told her that I got her a new throw for in her room and she said "oooooo can you show it to me?" I realized, yes I could take the i-pad in her room and show it to her, she was even able to read the writing on it.
Hubby took me in town to get my hair cut today, sure glad that is done. It was getting quite unruly!
**Patti G., oh my goodness, I hear kidney stones hurt really bad. I hope that you are able to pass them soon. Hopefully the rest of the year will be all uphill from now on.
**Ann, your post from yesterday sounded like me today. I was so sick of being stuck here at the house, it was really nice to be out and about, even if it was only for a haircut and to Walmart.
**Nubbins, I remembered reading about you trying the subs from Walmart and I got one today, I was disappointed that there was no tomato on it. I have had their pizzas though and I thought they were really pretty good.
**Fan, sorry but I had to chuckle when I saw you had started today with "thrashday" who are you thinking of thrashing. Sounds like you and Madison are in the same boat, fighting off this cough. Seems like Myo is not being very sympathetic.
**Vicki, I had looked up the oliebollen when you and Fan had talked about them. Fat balls is not a very endearing term. I hope your tea and homemade soup scared away your cold. Seems like there is just soooooo many people feeling sick, every where.
Time to unload the dryer, see you all later. Hello to everyone else, and Tango hope you are holding up okay.

hey everyone. I am feeling lots better today. I hope to goodness that it is not true that what you do onnew year's day you will do all year. Jim and I both have been laying around all week. He is still suffering with his broken ribs and we are still at Krys's house.
Vicki-no they didn't keep me in the hospital. Just gave me pain pills and something for nausea. ended up only needing to take 1.I must have been lucky in that it dissolved into small bits and I didn't feel it pass.I hope everyone is doing good too. I will try to give a shout to everyone individually when I go back home. I am on my tablet on don't like typing on it much.

Hey Y'all:
Vicki-nope, it's still up & as a matter of fact plugged in at the moment. It just looks so nice & it has been years since I put up a tree I'm going to leave it up till I get tired of it. 
Going to give another try to renting the car tomorrow. We'll see. If they don't have one this time I won't give them another chance. Hertz has opened a place in town.
