Good Morning, Friends!

Today, I have a light schedule: a little ironing, a little cleaning, AND a lot of fluids. Eric and Mary are still coming over for pizza and games early this evening. Mary and I are fighting this cold/flu.

Fan - I hope you start feeling better soon.

PattiT - Wow! You can do a lot on an I-pad. As you can see, oliebollen are more like donut holes with currents, raisins, or chopped apples. (Fat balls are not my favorite term.)

Patti (gramma) - I'm glad the medication has helped.

Pat - Enjoy that tree! No tree here this year.... we were gone most of time.

Hi Vicki and everybody, have a brilliant Friday

I'm trying to pick up a schedule today too. Light activities in the morning, short afternoon nap, light activities again and hopefully being able to consume three meals today. So far I've managed breakfast and lunch . I think my taste buds are recovering too.
Vicki, hope you and Mary are having more success fighting the cold as I did.

Hey Y'all:

Called car rental this morning, got answering machine so left message to call me back. They did & I asked them to call me when they had a car for me. I'm all set to go at their call. They will have to pick me up since both of my neighbors are working.

Glad that those who have been ill are feeling better.

Hello friends. I am about to go to the kitchen to make dinner. We are having grilled Greek chicken, potato cakes and corn pudding. Hubby requested the sides. We went by a restaurant that we used to go to that we both loved the corn pudding and he said he should sure go for some. Unfortunately that restaurant closed long ago, so I told hubby I would make it for us.
I have been working on a cookbook for BakeSpace but I can't figure out how to edit my old recipes and fix mistakes, make thing clearer add pictures etc. I thought for sure it would be easy to add pictures but I have had nothing but trouble. I hope Babette will answer my e-mail and let me know what I am doing wrong.
**Fan, I sure am glad that it seems like you might be recovering.
**Vicki, the oliebollen with the apples sounds good to me. I hope you are able to enjoy your evening, it sounds like great fun.
**Nubbins, I am glad that the car rental place will come out and pick you up. You will have to let us know how it goes and how Vernon is doing. If you are enjoying your tree, then there is no reason to take it down.

Today was Madison's first day back at school and my son got a surprising call from the teachers cell phone, it was Madison asking if he could bring her Subway for lunch. School sure has changed since I was there!! If she made it through the rest of the day, she will go to swim practice tonight. Her dad is going to stay and watch her to see how she does and in case she isn't able to make it through the whole practice.

Hey Y'all...again:

Was picked up about 5pm. Have the rental car parked in the driveway. They gave me a Camry LE. You can depress the brake pedal with a feather. That'll take some getting used to. This thing has more controls, lights & gizmos than I have every seen. Took me 5 minutes to figure out how to turn off the lights.
It rides really well tho, nice & smooth. Will be going to see DH on Sunday. Have to pick up scripts before 1:30 tomorrow in Lake City & pick up dog food there also.

Will let you know how DH is doing.
