Good day everybody, have a brilliant start of the week

Martha, this morning frosty and cold. Looked like an ice age coming in. People are skating at a few places already and tomorrow evening will be the first speed skating marathon.

But after 4 pm the snow kicked in. Can't wait to see how much there will be tomorrow morning.

So better enjoy the January thaw you are having and use your tickets as soon as winter comes back

Kind of survived the office today. I'm still being bothered by tonsillitis, seems to be going from left to the right and vice versa. Gonna brew my self some mint tea.

Good afternoon everyone. Yesterday ended up running so looooooong. I was totally wore out until we finally got home. We ended up stopping for dinner together before we went our separate ways. Came home, we put our jammies on, and put our feet up.
Madison swam in five events and won first place in all of them. She doesn't usually swim the breast stroke and the girl next to her as they were lined up, her closest competitor, said "I know you are going to win the trophy, but I am going to beat you at the breast stroke." So that win was extra sweet. That was one of the reasons the day was extra long, after all the events were over there was a trophy ceremony so we ended up being there from 8:30 until 4:30.
Not doing much today, laundry and researching places we might want to go for our 40th anniversary. We are trying to keep it nearby and inexpensive. Hubby put a bug in my ear about going to the shore. My first reaction was it was too long of a ride for a two night stay. I might check it out anyway.
**Ann, I had bought some of that BioFreeze for my husband, his neck is always bothering him. I am glad that your have things to help you feel better after a long day at work.
I have always had to sign in to BakeSpace each time I visit even though I have checked the remember me. I thought it was something that had never been fixed.
**Fan, I know what you mean about if that shop sold "kitchen toys" I would be sneaking a peek in there all the time and spending money I didn't have. They have places like you are talking about around here but they charge outrageous prices for the classes so they don't tempt me.
**Martha, I think your temperatures have been higher than ours lately. They predicted some warm weather a couple of days and then they didn't seem to be correct and I was wishing I had dressed warmer. My husband noticed that my daffodils are up about 2 or 3 inches. I guess we are okay unless the trees start sprouting leaves.
You just can't let those airline tickets pass you by. I would hate traveling alone though also. I hope you figure something out.

Gotta go put the clothes in the dryer, see you all tomorrow.

Hey Y'all:

Been having a problem with phone/internet line. It has been out all day till about 9pm then it all starts working again. Phone man is here now to do repair & don't you know the line was out all morning until about 10 mins before he showed up.
