Hi everybody, have a smashing Friday Very Happy

Hope everybody is tucked up warm and cosy. Wink It's still cold here and it'll stay like that for the weekend as well. Bad news is that we did get some snow overnight which is bad for the ice in the canals.
Another thing is that I came down with an infection in my left leg. I already noticed a painful small spot on my leg since Monday, but since it didn't really bother me that much I simply ignored it. This morning I went to work as usual and after coffee break I noticed some pink coloring coming up. So off I went to my GP, who told me he suspected it to be the very beginning of a bacterial infection under the skin and prescribed me some antibiotics. No cocktails for two weeks. Crying or Very sad On a happier note Very Happy , my weekend has started Laughing Laughing
Tango, how are you today? I'll keep you in my prayers.
Ann-Marie, are you off and playing in the snow?
Nubbins, stay warm there.

Hi Everybody!
I am surrounded by whiteness again (snow!) and it's only 18 degrees.
But I'm not complaining... it looks all clean and pretty.

Fan - Good thing you caught that infection in time. It will probably clear up fast with the antibiotics. No cocktails for 2 weeks? Shocked How will you stand it!

Tango - We are all praying for you to get well.

Jim and I are going to a "steak dinner" tonight at the Elks Club. That's always fun... there are a nice bunch of people there.

My cold is slowly going away. I can breathe "most" of the time! Rolling Eyes

Nothing else new here... haven't been doing much baking. Still finishing off the batch of Pea Soup that I made.

Have a great weekend, everybody!!
