HELLO DEAR ONES.....I have really missed being here on everyday. I have been feeling like crap and sleep constantly. I think it's making me feel worse. I have a place on the bottom of my foot. I went to the doctor for it the other day, had to pay 139 dollars out of pocket, because Jim's company he worked for has the Health care insurance missed up. Anyway, doctor said it was an Ulcer with an infection. She was concerted about the redness and heat and painful to touch of my leg and thought I could have a Blood Clot and also wanted me to go to a Wound Center and have them check out my foot. I told her I had no insurance and couldn't she just give me something for the infection.She did and Jim says it still looks the same.Wound Center called this morning and I have an appt. to go there Wednesday morning.I need to get this led elevated soon though.
Jim has been a real Angel keeping the house tided up and cooking our dinner and cleaning up the kitchen.

**ANN, Still have a lot of Critters I see. If the get to go home the week-end, more will come in their place. Nice to have 2 days off in a row isn't it?

**FAN, What did you do to your leg that you are having to take an anti-biotic? What good timing your friend had when he shard his meal with you. Hope your leg gets better real soon.

**PATTI, I'm sure that Madison will do great at this up coming Swim Meet. She'll be excited to tell you when she gets home. Does she know that you and Papa are going to be there?

**CAROLYN, Oh my....your whole house has that awful FLU! You really need to do what your doctor says Carolyn. There are enough adults in your house to split up the work load.

**TANGO, Bless your heart ....those ole treatments making you sick, they made Jim's Mom sick too.I thought there was a pi;; they could give a person for the nausea. Always Praying for you! ((TANGO))

Well, I hope I have forgot anyone. You use to be able to see the posts for the day and go back and re-read it, BUT now that's GONE!! Anyway, I do believe I'm going back to bed. Have a good rest of the day! HUGS!!

Debbie, soo glad you checked in today. But I'm really sorry to hear you are not doing too well and that Jim's company has messed up the Health Care. I hope you can leave this misery behind you real soon. Is Jim's company going to make any repairs? I'll keep my fingers crossed for both of you
My leg isn't too bad. I somehow must have had a small wound on my leg sometime [I almost always have that due to my own clumsiness], that healed up nicely but left a bacteria of some kind under my skin and that started working last Monday. By Friday my leg really started swelling, hence the antibiotics from my GP. I can still walk to the office and do my chores. Only the medication is causing nausea if I take them before my meals, so today I took them two hours after the meal, which makes me feel a lot better.
Tango, how are you today? Is the anti-nausea medication helping a bit?
Gotta go for now, Myo is showing off some acrobatics, need to stop her before the curtains come down again.

Hello Debbie and Fan, hello to anyone else that happens to stop by.
**Carolyn, sorry to hear about all the illness etc going on in your home. Don't wear yourself out too much taking care of everyone else. You need to get some rest now and then so you can heal.
**Debbie, so glad to see you checking in but how awful of Jim's company to mess up the insurance. I sure hope the wound center is able to help your leg and perhaps your foot also. Jim is a real sweetheart, it is a blessing to have such a husband.
**Fan, is your leg feeling better? I hope the pills will cause less nausea the way you are taking them now. Cats can be so funny when they suddenly get a burst of energy and act a little crazy.

Brrrrrr it sure was cold here today, 10 degrees. Definitely not a good day to be outside. On the news they showed one of those guys that stand along the road with signs for the tax service places. He said he couldn't wait to get off and drink some hot cocoa. I always hope they pay those guys good money for being out in the elements.
I made barbecued turkey thighs, parsley buttered potatoes and brussel sprouts for dinner. Fan I did not put apples in with the red cabbage the other day, I put some slivered carrots and hamburger in with it. Then put some teriyaki sauce on it all. Another not exactly pretty meal but it tasted good.

Hey Y'all:

Hope the flu bug stays away from my door. Did finally get a flu shot, so I hope that works.

Not doing much, cleaning out the shed & getting rid of junk boxed up in there. Amazing how many empty Rubbermaid Totes I now have.

Finally had to retire one of my outside trash cans, it was plastic & just starting falling apart. Went to the local hardware store & picked up a metal can as a replacement. Metal seems to work better keeping out the outside critters.

Nothing new going on here...
