Hi everybody, have a smashing day

Another cold day today, but there is a big thaw in the forecasts for Sunday.
Had some sad news about the neighbour from the fast food take away two doors away from me. She's already hospitalized for almost three weeks and today the news came out that it's terminal. She probably will not make it over the weekend. I'm praying for her, her hubby and daughter.
My leg is getting better by the day, but I'm still worried a bit walking on icy roads, not to mention me biking to the supermarket. The forecasted thaw is not entirely unwelcome, I'll still be okay for another week, but after three weeks I do need to get some stuff again.

Hi Everybody!
It's been snowing all day, but we only have 3-4 inches. The real problem is the temperature! It's been in the single digits for days and supposed to stay that way until the weekend, when a heat wave of low 20's is expected. and it will keep snowing every day. Right now it's too cold for salt to work on the roads, so it's very slippery, I hear.

I still haven't kicked this cold I have. At least it's all in my head (and sinuses) and hasn't turned into a cough or sore throat. I hope all of you are on the mend.

Haven't been doing much lately, between my cold and not wanting to go outside. I was trying to motivate myself to do some baking... but I haven't succeeded yet!
