Good Morning, Friends!

I had quite an interesting end of this week. My local son (Eric) and his wife wanted Karl and I to meet them at a restaurant. They would arrive separately since he was driving from work. We met him at a local restaurant, only Eric was facing the door (his plan). Instead of Mary, Michael (DS from Iowa) walks in... what a surprise!!

Michael went home with us for a visit after dinner. We saw Michael, Eric and Mary on Friday.

Vicki - awww, what a wonderful surprise!!!

Martha - up near where Jim works they got a good two feet of snow. Then where I work we got 3 or 4 inches. Crazy.

{{{Fan}}} - that sucks.

Not doing much today. Did clean up where Leo had gotten sick. Poor guy. Headed up to Thrifty Shopper to see if there are some treasures to discover and then over to the grocery store.

Hi everybody, have a great weekend

I'm gradually feeling better, the headache is gone and most of the muscle aches too. Only the fever comes up every now and then with coughing and a running nose. But luckily enough I was well enough to go out for dinner with two of my friends.
Ann-Marie, no snow here. But the temps feels like -15C due to the strong wind. Really weird cause last year we were already sitting outside on the pavement having coffee.
Vicki, that's so nice. . I bet both of you were really happy seeing him.

Morning everyone,

Hard to believe it's Palm Sunday. This month is going fast too.

Had a beautiful day yesterday, ended up clearing up later in the afternoon. We went up to Thrifty Shopper then to the grocery store, came home and ate lunch. Kept thinking about a covered dish I seen up at Thrifty Shopper so we went back up and it was still there. Left there, came home and grabbed the camera and we were off again.

Jim and I have a game that we play when we are driving around, we'll take turns doing left, right or straight...and some of the back roads that we've been on have been beautiful! Some beautiful homes, big farms and it's hard to tell what animal or bird we'll see.

Today is going to be a "catch up" day here at the house, cleaning mostly. Plus it's suppose to be sunny again today.

Ann-Marie, beautiful pics. Just love it. Must have been a beautiful drive. Yeah, Palm Sunday, means a short week at the office ahead of me. Friday is off.
I did consider going out too since we had a wee bit of sunshine, but it was sooo totally freaking cold that I decided to stay indoors. I'm still running with fever and performing the water ballet [running nose and coughing] . I can tell you I was better yesterday.

Hello everyone. Very busy weekend for me. I didn't even get unpacked until today. Made us lunch and then we went along with Madison and family to see the children put on a play at the church. They did a real good job and it was very entertaining. After that we went out to eat and back to visit for a while.

I am so glad that I got to go spend time with Nick. They are planning on coming home for Easter and I told them I might go along back with them for a while. I am hoping to be able to give Tina a break. She would never admit to it, but I think she is getting a bit frazzled with taking care of Nick, working, and dealing with Nick's boss. She also needs a minor surgery soon. Whew, that is a lot for her to deal with, and how could I forget her dealing with all his Dr. bills etc. Saturday he noticed his beard was falling out, I am guessing his hair on his head will be doing the same soon. It is really hard seeing him go through so much at such a young age. He didn't sleep more than an hour or two the night I was there, he was in a lot of pain and is too stubborn to take his medicine. He says he is sick of taking pills and he keeps thinking that it will go away soon and then he didn't need to take the pills. He ate really good while I was there, hubby says he enjoys his Mamma's cooking.

**Ann, hubby and I used to do the same kind of road trips, you never know what you might find! Beautiful pictures you sent.
**Fan, sorry to hear that you are feeling so badly. Too bad I can't bring you some chicken soup. I would have to leave it on your doorstep, wouldn't want to risk getting sick. Hopefully Myo, is keeping you good company. Feel better soon.
**Debbie, how have you been doing.
**Martha, do you think we will be getting a big snow here in the east. I hope your dentures are feeling better and better and that you will be eating steak soon.
