Morning everyone,

Hope everyone is doing well today. I work this weekend, don't mind it. It's a good change. Smile

Still trying to get use to this computer, sat here all day yesterday trying to get every thing back up and running, especially the Firefox and Thunderbird. This is Windows 7, so quite a bit different then XP.

I sent email out to you all, if you haven't gotten anything from me, please email me so I can put you in my email address book.

Have a great day!
Ann

Good Morning, Friends!

We received wonderful news.... a granddaughter will join our family the end of this summer. My other granddaughters were jumping for joy... the granddaughters are catching up with the grandsons (numerically). Smile

Ann - You certainly figured out Thunderbird faster than I have. Right now, it is uninstalled because email messages would automatically go to everyone in my address book. (Fortunately, I had only a few added.)

Have a great weekend!

~~Vicki

Good morning everybody, have a smashing day Very Happy

Vicki, congrats on the granddaughter Very Happy Very Happy .
Ann-Marie, I'll keep my fingers crossed for you Tuesday. Have fun at work.
Debbie, indeed it's awful finding a pile of work waiting for me next week, but I can't blame my colleagues. They went down with the flu as well, my boss included. So we are all rowing the same boat Rolling Eyes . Your condition worries me. If your foot turns purple it may be a good idea to check into the hospital in order to prevent even worse. I hate hospitals too, but sometimes the sooner you get in the sooner you get out too.
Martha, did you get your hands on the Jeep yet?
PattiT, some months ago our queen announced that she'd abdicate in April. That's where the fuss started. Now were getting close to the actual crowning date, April 30th. So you are decided to go European on the washer/drying combo? Wink
I had a pretty busy day so far, laundry, washing spinach, "opening" the pet shop, cleaning the first floor and cat napping with Myo. Tomorrow I have to prepare for Monday's course. Borrowed a small laptop computer from the office. I'm gonna play with that.

Hello girls. We are expecting to see Darryl and his family showing up with a new vehicle any minute. The went to look at Odysee's ( sp) and usually when they look they come home with whatever they were looking at. It is a beautiful sunny day here.
The soft ice cream place down the road opens today and I am sure we will all be visiting there.
Wishing everyone a great weekend.

**Ann, I hope your weekend isn't too busy. I am sure you will catch on quickly to your new computer system. How are the kitties doing?
**Vicki, congratulations on gaining another granddaughter to love. I bet the other granddaughters will enjoy helping with the new baby.
**Fan, thanks for explaining about the future king. You did have a busy morning! I have been thinking about the washer/dryer combo for quite sometime. We recently sold some stocks that will pay for that and the flooring. Funny thing, I just had a feeling that we needed to sell the stocks right away and I was right, it has tanked ever since then. It was the only stocks we had and I am glad we are out of that. Too nerve wracking for me. We ended up making over 500% can't expect better than that!

I probably won't be on line for a couple of days Wink

Vicki - so far I haven't heard of anyone getting someone else's email. Wonder why yours did that??

Fan - hate going to the dentist. Sad

PattiT - Leo is still sneezing but he is up and around now, not laying around so much. Poor Willow still has it in her eye. If it's still yucky Mon goign to call the vet and see if there is anything else we can do for her. I've been wiping it out with a warm cloth, told Jim to do the same today while I am at work.

13 critters.

Later,
Ann

Hey Y'all:

Patti I have put the word out about hats for Nick, hoping I get some responses.

Farm story........My neighbor has 2 rescue donkeys, she called here this morning in a crying panic....one of them (named Chester) somehow slipped into the gully on her property & was stuck in the mud (we have had a lot of rain). I grabbed gs & his buddy & we all worked about 4 hours getting his legs out of the mud, he was in up to his belly. We did get him out & brought food (carrots) hay & water down to him. He was exhausted, we decided to give him time to eat & rest. The mail lady came along & suggested we call the fire dept. Eleanore did & they came out & managed to get him up on his feet & out of the gully (which is about 25' deep). He seems fine no injuries that any of us could find & no broken limbs. She had no idea how long he had been down there. They usually bed down at night so we think it happened early this morning. She noticed he was missing when she called them for their morning treat & grain. Thank heaven for rural fire depts. They told her they do this stuff all the time.

Debbie-purple foot means no blood circulation, get to the ER before you lose it. Nothing to play with my friend. (Said with a lot of love).

Just read Cream Puff Murder by Joanne Fluke-loved it so much I ordered the rest of her food series murders on my Kindle for 4.39 each.

Y'all take care & feel better...

Morning,

Had 14 critters when I left work yesterday.

Pat/nubs - poor donkey! Amazing what the fire depts do to help out the farmers even in our area. I like Joanna Fluke too, very good writer, some times she throws in some humor which tickles me. Smile

Hope everyone has a restful Sunday.

Take care,
Ann

Hi everybody, have a great Sunday Very Happy .

Nubbins, that's a lucky donkey for sure. And thumbs up for the fire departments in the world. I was hoisted out of the office building from the 5th floor by them and they told me that they usually didn't do big cats like me from such a height Laughing . Luckily the donkey is okay.
Ann-Marie, busy again with 14 critters? I think I need to relax Wink . Glad to hear Leo is getting better, hopefully that'll perk Willow up too.
PattiT, sounds like your Spring is coming. Yum, soft ice cream and good company on a Sunday.
Carolyn, hang in there. Good to hear the cancer tests came out clear. Hang in there girl, you are on my prayer list. As for me, I'll catch up with work one step at the time.
I've been plain lazy today, basically followed Myo's example and slept in till noon. The weather is getting warmer, but foggier too. It made the sun sleep in as well. But we are in for some much needed rain in the second half of this week.
