Good Morning, Friends!

Spring is back with temperatures forecasted in the 60's (the next two days)! Perfect timing... we'll watch our grandson's first Little League baseball game today.

I hope to check in more next week.

~~Vicki

Hi Vicki and everybody else, have an awesome weekend Very Happy

Yep, Spring is here too, but it's stlll very chilly. However I had my morning coffee sitting out of the wind in the sun only wearing a t-shirt Very Happy .

And I saw the birds busy nesting, somehow it seems nothing is going to stop them now. Yesterdays rain was very effective too, I can see the green colours coming up everywhere.
And I bought my self the first fresh horse beans of this year,

so you can guess what's for dinner.
Vicki, that's so exciting! The first Little League game of your grandson.

Hello everyone,

Whew, what a crazy week!! Very hectic and very busy. We were up to 19 critters when I left on Fri evening but I think 2 were to go home.

Didn't do much yesterday, tired...very tired. Slept in the recliner for about an hour yesterday afternoon then the neighbor came over for a visit. Then Jim & I ran up to Thrifty Shopper, they were getting ready to close when we went in. Thought for sure they would be open later for Spring/Summer. Came home and the neighbor kids were out playing frisbee so I played with them for a little bit. Just felt good to be outside. They are such nice kids, fun to be around, they had me laughing with some of their antics. Smile

Better get around here, need to get cleaned up going into town shortly. There is a cat show in Erie then we need to stop and get groceries on the way home.

Fan - nice pictures. It's nice to hear & see the different birds coming back for Summer.

Vicki - hope the weather stayed nice for your GS's game.

Take care,
Ann

Hi Ann-Marie and everybody else, have a fantastic Sunday Very Happy

Ann-Marie, sorry to hear you being so tired. Sad And for the cat show, I just hope they'll be posing as beautiful as Myō. Have fun Smile

I had a real fun day outside. There was a textile market today and the book signing session at the city hall. And although it was still cold, the weather was dry and sunny enticing people to eat ice cream of have a drink on the terraces.

The book is about 23 specialist retail shops in the city of Leiden titled "Ik zie u vaker dan mijn moeder [I'm seeing you more often than my Mum]".

My neighbour was one of the retailers portrayed in the book, so he had to sit there and sign copies too. One of his favourite customers, not particularly interested in the book, stepped by for a few dog treats Wink,

And one member of the public even fell a sleep Laughing

Luckily some others were more interested. Very Happy

Fan - cute picture of Myo! There were between 50 to 100 cats there, a good turn out. The money to get in goes towards the area animals shelters. We seen a huge cat that was a tortoise-shell calico like Willow, long haired, very pretty.

Weather has changed a little bit, clouded up and has been raining or sprinkling off an on. Still warm though, it's about 64º or so.

Stopped at the grocery store to get some groceries, did very well at Wegman's. Got lots of meat - chicken and ground beef. Wanted to restock the freezer downstairs.

Jim is making double coated chicken legs, YUM!! Hungry! Smile

Hope everyone is doing well.
Ann
